Способ относится к измерениям ядерных излучений, в частности к измерениям удельной активности при наличии других радиоактивных веществ, например естественной радиоактивности в воздухе, и может быть использован для определения интенсивности, плотности и энергии излучения. Сущность изобретения: Способ включает калибровку приборов для измерения в воздухе концентрации дочерних продуктов распада радона, основанных на сборе продуктов на аэрозольный фильтр и измерении активности фильтра. Для калибровки используется излучение только продуктов распада радона, содержащего в равновесии со своими продуктами в воздухе в естественной, заранее неизвестной концентрации.
