In turn, mention should be made of the method and system for creating an auction using a product catalog, in which the seller (electronic system) determines the conditions of the auction based on the characteristics of the goods taken from the product catalog [US patent 8095449 B2, IPC G06Q 30/06, G06Q 30/08 ].

Thus, there is a need to develop a method and system for conducting electronic online trading on an electronic trading platform between a seller and a buyer, which would overcome the disadvantages of analogues.

The essence of the claimed invention.

The objective of the claimed invention is to overcome the above disadvantages and expand the arsenal of technical means for the following purpose: "a method for conducting electronic online trading on an electronic trading platform and an automated online system for its implementation."

The technical result of the claimed invention is the implementation of the specified purpose.

The specified technical result is achieved by using a method for carrying out electronic online trading, which is computer-implemented, in which each stage, in whole or in part, is performed by executing machine-executable instructions in one or more processors of a computer system including computer devices of the service part of the electronic trading platform ( ETP), connected via communication lines with the computer devices of the users of the system of the client part of the ETP, and the method includes the following stages:

- receiving and transferring data entering the system from users of the ETP system into electronic form, processing the received data by means of the ETP processor of the computing system, including at least the registration of system users, at least subdivided by status into categories of sellers and buyers, their authorization and access to the ETP in accordance with the status,

- data management and their graphical display by filling in the corresponding fields of the data presentation form of the graphical user interface, located hierarchically in the ETP memory block,
