Abstract

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: article for marking on drug storage and handling containers represents a colour tweed ribbon 20 mm wide, 1.2 mm thick and 63 mm long with a rough surface divided into two information fields. The above ribbon contains convex square rough graphic elements 8 mm long and 0.2 mm thick made of cotton threads, applied on the tweed surface by embroidering, as well as a fragrant composition consisting of citronellol, geraniol and cytronellyl acetate. An inverse surface of the ribbon is coated with an adhesive layer 0.2 mm thick.

EFFECT: invention enables reducing the risk of medical errors by facilitating the combined identification of a drug preparation, including by disabled patients, and extending the range of counterfeit protection facilities.

Description

The invention relates to the field of medicine and pharmacy, in particular to products for marking containers for storage and transportation of medicines.

For many decades, drug packaging has been considered as the least significant element of a pharmaceutical product. First of all, utilitarian requirements were imposed on her - to preserve the quality of the drug, ensure its transportation, inform about its name and dosage. In recent decades, the role of packaging has become increasingly prominent. The main reason for the improvement of packaging is the desire of the manufacturer to improve the consumer properties of the pharmaceutical product, to make its use more convenient and safe. Not least of all, this is due to the increasing amount of information necessary for presentation, in accordance with the legal regulation in the field of drug circulation [1, 2].

The prior art does not disclose a product intended for marking containers for storage and transportation of drugs, which are inherent in all the features of the claimed invention, expressed by the formula.

The objective of the invention is to reduce the risk of medical errors and complications of drug therapy.

The problem is solved due to the fact that the product for marking containers for storing and transporting medicines is a colored tape with a rough surface made of woven and / or non-woven natural and / or synthetic material, divided into two information fields and containing convex rough graphic elements on the surface of the material or tapes integrated into the material, which are made of natural and / or synthetic material, as well as containing a multicomponent th deodorant composition.

The proposed product can be applied to the primary and / or secondary packaging of a medicinal product by gluing or in any other way. One of the possible embodiments of the proposed technical solution is presented in figure 1. The material for the applied convex rough graphic elements can be selected, but not limited to threads from various natural and / or artificial, woven and / or non-woven materials, such as cotton, wool, metal or other materials.

Dimensions of the product for marking (length and width) may vary - depending on the dimensions of the primary or secondary packaging. The recommended thickness of the product is from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm. The product is divided in half into two information fields by a line, color or otherwise. Information fields contain convex, outlined with a frame of contrasting color products for marking, rough graphic elements in the form of pictograms-stencils containing alphanumeric designations of indications and contraindications. An embodiment of the stencil icon is shown in FIG. 2. To indicate the types of diseases it is recommended to use the abbreviations adopted in medical practice, for example: DM - diabetes AH - arterial hypertension; COPD - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc.

Additionally, in order to reduce the risk of medical errors and complications of drug therapy caused by falsification of drugs, a multicomponent deodorizing composition unique to drugs or the pharmacological group of drugs is applied to the product for labeling. The deodorizing composition must meet the following requirements: strong adhesion on the surface of the substrate material; lack of toxicity and hypoallergenicity; narrow temperature range (34-38 ° C), in which the smell is felt.

Between the set of essential features of the claimed product for labeling and the achieved technical result (reducing the risk of medical errors and complications of drug therapy) there is a causal relationship, namely, the combined identification of the drug (smell, pattern and color of the tape) is simplified; increased awareness of the patient and the doctor regarding the indications and contraindications for prescribing drugs (convex rough graphic elements of the tape); increased alertness regarding their use by medical personnel and patients, including patients with disabilities (rough surface of the tape and its graphic elements, specific smell and color); protection against falsification has been improved (labeling characteristics that are unique to a group or a particular drug are used - deodorizing composition, color, material and pattern of the tape).

To use the inventive product for marking containers for storing and transporting medicines, additional equipment for identification of drugs is not required.

Materials for the manufacture of the product include, but are not limited to, the following materials: cotton, wool, tweed, linen, artificial and / or synthetic silk, polyolefin fibers, polypropylene, nylon, hemp; genuine leather or its substitutes, etc.

Materials for the manufacture of convex graphic elements having a rough surface include, but are not limited to, the following materials: natural and artificial rubber, latex, thermoplastics (for example, a copolymer of ethylene with vinyl acetate), threads from natural and / or artificial fibers, etc.

Methods for applying convex rough graphic elements of application to the surface of the product or integrating into the material of the product include, but are not limited to the following methods: application, extrusion of the material onto the surface through a movable dispensing head, embroidery on the surface of the product, etc.

It is allowed to use natural and / or chemical substances that enhance odor, increase adhesion on the surface of the tape and / or otherwise modify the deodorizing composition.

Examples of chemicals are: vanillin, strawberry aldehyde, allyl hexanoate, limonene, ethyl propionate, isoamyl acetate, cinnamaldehyde, isopentyl isalerate, isoamyl acetate, citronelol, menthol, etc.

Methods of applying a multicomponent deodorizing composition to a surface or integrating into a product material include, but are not limited to the following techniques: irrigation, immersion, application by electrostatic devices, etc.

A method of manufacturing a product for marking in the form of a tape from a woven natural material (tweed) includes the following steps:

- Formation from a tweed web of a tape 20 mm wide, 1 mm thick and 63 mm long;

- Drawing on the front surface of the tape by applying convex rough graphic elements of natural rubber square shape with a side of 8 mm and a thickness of 0.2 mm;

- Application to the front surface of the tape by irrigation of a deodorizing composition consisting of citronelol, geraniol and citronelil acetate;

- Drawing on the reverse surface of the tape an adhesive layer with a thickness of 0.2 mm;

- Application of a protective coating on the adhesive layer with a thickness of 0.1 mm.

The resulting product for marking has a total thickness of 1.5 mm, a width of 20 mm, a length of 63 mm, while the deodorizing composition has a pronounced smell and can have a long period of residence on the marking material. Example 2. The method of applying to the packaging of the product for marking containers for storage and transportation of medicines in the form of a tape of woven natural material (tweed).

- Removing the protective coating from the adhesive layer on the reverse surface of the tape;

- Application by application of a marking product in the form of a tape of woven natural material (tweed) on the primary and / or secondary packaging.
