Information card has edge portion free from data identifying citizen's personality and provided with rupture line for removing this portion of card together with protective member prior to putting information card into document. Description

 The group of inventions relates to printed products for special purposes and can be used in the manufacture of documents proving the identity of a citizen, where a blank is used as a form of a document in the form of a booklet with a photograph attached, these are: passport, military ID, official ID and other documents, as well as when issuing entry visas to foreign citizens and in cases when the document is further personalized, i.e. relevant information defining additional rights and obligations of a citizen is entered into the document.

 The prior art knows a passport document with a separately filled out information sheet proving the identity of the bearer, and a method for producing such a document containing front and back covers, between which many pages are stitched, and a pre-printed and cut-to-size information sheet includes specific information, including photo identifying the owner. The information sheet is made in the form of an insert and placed by means of adhesive inside the cover (RU, application N 94016882, CL B 42 D 15/02, 1996).

 A disadvantage of the known document is the difficulty of connecting the information sheet with the pages of the document, since it is supposed to use special equipment to activate the adhesive film, and its insufficient protection against counterfeiting. In addition, the information sheet does not have sufficient reliability compared to the card.

 The closest analogue of each of the inventions of the proposed group of inventions is the technical solution according to US Pat. US 3697101, CL B 42 D 15/00, 1972, from which an information card intended to be fixed on a document and a method for manufacturing such an information card are known. The card known from this patent is made of plastic and contains data on the citizen’s personality formed on its front side. However, since the fastening of the card on documents is associated with the use of special adhesive fields on the document sheet, the above drawback is the difficulty of connecting the card with the document, it is also present in this technical solution, and the information card known from it does not have reliable protection against falsification.

 The technical result of the invention is to increase reliability and increase security against falsification, facilitate the installation of an information card in a document without the use of expensive equipment, and also to a high degree of automation of the personalization process with the possibility of using well-known manufacturing technologies, such as bank cards.

 The essence of the invention for the object "a method of manufacturing an information card", intended for fastening on a document, consists in the fact that it includes forming on the front side of a plastic blank of data on the citizen’s identity, including at least one photograph, each of which is equipped with a security measure from a fake, including information visible and / or invisible under normal conditions, applying an adhesive layer to the back of the workpiece to connect the information card to the document, setting on this layer and a removable protective element cut from a blank of a predetermined size information card, the information card to form means for removing the protective member prior to fixing the card information on the document.

 The data on the citizen’s identity, in addition to the photograph, can contain verbal and / or machine readable information, and these personality data are generated using personalization technologies for plastic cards, such as bank cards.

 The formation of means for removing the protective element can be carried out in the process of cutting out an information card.

 A means of protecting a photograph from a fake includes information about its owner, for example, the name of the country or republic that issued the document, and the serial number of the document.

 Cutting out the information card can be carried out using a die cutter, which is equipped with a knife-shaped mechanism, by means of which a notch of the corner of the information card is used, which serves as a means for removing the protective element.

 The essence of the invention for the object “information card”, intended to be fixed on a document, consists in the fact that the card is made of plastic and contains data on the citizen’s identity formed on its front side, and also has an adhesive layer deposited on its back to connect it with a document and is equipped with a protective removable element similar in size and configuration to it, mounted on an adhesive layer. A part of the edge of the card that is free of data on the identity of the citizen has a break line to remove this part of the card along with the security element before installing the information card in the document.

 A tear line can be made at one of the corners of the card.

 The proposed method significantly enhances the security of the document from forgery.

 Personalization is a process when a form (blank) is “loaded” with personal parameters of a citizen, such as an identification parameter, which is a photograph, and metric data like a “name”, which has a dimension sufficient to be unique.

 The proposed method implements the principle of ungrouped correspondence, where, for example, the properties of a plastic card are used in a new quality. It allows you to take full advantage of the information card while maintaining the existing form of the document. This greatly enhances the protection of an existing type of document, with relatively small capital investments.

 The invention is illustrated by illustrations, where in FIG. 1 shows a centralized system for producing photographs of a citizen through a digitized image introduced into the database; in FIG. 2 is an example of a die cut; in FIG. 3 - notching the information card.

 On a plastic blank 1 of information card 2, using highly effective banking technology for personalizing plastic cards, several photographic images of a citizen are printed (Fig. 1).

 Information (e) parameter (s) and metric data, in whole or in part, are entered on the form of the information card, then information (graphic, text, electronic, cryptographic, etc.). Information by various methods is inextricably linked (protected) so that it eliminates or complicates falsification or unauthorized alteration thereof.

 Personalization of information photographs can be carried out, for example, centrally.

 Each photo is protected from falsification, may contain information 3 about the owner in explicit or hidden, for example, visible in UV rays, view, machine-readable zone 4, serial number, etc. (Fig. 1).

 The reverse side of the plastic photograph has an adhesive layer with a protective element, for example a special film 5, designed to prevent damage to the adhesive layer. Before gluing the plastic card into the document, the protective film 5 is removed.

 Using a special die-cutting stamp, plastic photographs 2 of the required size are cut from the blank 1 of the information card (Fig. 2).

 On the edge of the information card 2, preferably in the corner, a notch is applied, which must be applied so that it cuts the information card from edge to edge without destroying the protective film 5.

 To remove the protective film, it is necessary to break the information card 2 along the tear line (notch) 6 and, holding the broken corner 7 of the information card, bend the protective film so that the information card is separated from the protective film 5.

 When glued with a protective film, the information card is the size of a bank payment plastic card, which allows for the personalization of civil documents to use technologies that have become widespread and have proven themselves in the banking sector.

 It is not practical to use any protrusion in the construction of the information card that facilitates the removal of the protective film. the protrusion on the information card will impede its automated processing on standardized banking equipment, therefore, the proposed method for removing the protective film does not require changing the external outline of the information card.

 A personalized information card connected to the document can be covered, together with the page on which it will be placed, with a special transparent protective film, which will perform an additional protective function.

A method of manufacturing an information card designed to be fixed on a document, characterized in that it includes forming on the front side of a plastic blank of data on the citizen’s identity, including at least one photograph, each of which is equipped with a means of protection against forgery, including visible and / or information invisible under ordinary conditions, applying an adhesive layer to the back of the workpiece to connect the information card to the document, installing a removable protective layer on this layer of the element and the cut of the blank of a predetermined size information card, the information card to form means for removing the protective member prior to fixing the card information on the document.  2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the data on the identity of the citizen, in addition to photography, contain verbal and / or machine readable information.  3. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the formation of means for removing the protective element is carried out in the process of cutting the information card.  5. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the means of protecting the photo from forgery includes information about its owner, for example, the name of the country or republic that issued the document, the serial number of the document.  6. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the cutting of the information card is carried out using a die cut.  7. The method according to claim 6, characterized in that by means of a die cut, a notch of a corner of the information card is used, which serves as a means for removing the protective element.  8. An information card designed to be fixed on a document, made of plastic and containing data on the citizen’s identity formed on its front side, characterized in that it has an adhesive layer deposited on its back side to connect it with the document and is equipped with a similar size and configuration with a removable protective element mounted on the adhesive layer, while a part of the edge of the card, free of citizen identity, has a tear line to remove this part of the card along with itnym element before installing the card information in the document.  9. The card according to claim 8, characterized in that the line of the gap is made at one of its corners.
