The phenomenon of damage (breakage of the base of the cartridge case) during firing occurs for a number of reasons, such as violation of the terms, procedure and rules for the maintenance of an automatic gun, as established by the manufacturer’s technical documentation, as well as the requirements of the customer’s regulatory documentation (General Directorate of Armored Federation); violations of the procedure for the preparation and maintenance of ammunition (30 mm ammunition), cartridge belt (cartridge belt links) established by the manufacturer’s technical documentation and the customer’s regulatory documentation (Automobile Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation).

The method of extracting (knocking out) the rest of the damaged cartridge of a 30 mm cartridge from the barrel of an automatic gun 2A42 is unknown.

The technical task of the utility model is to develop a device for extracting from the barrel of an automatic cannon 2A42 the remnant of a damaged sleeve without damaging the barrel, as a result of which the automatic gun is brought to a working condition by the crew of a combat vehicle (BMP-2, BMD-2) without dismantling the gun, its disassembly and dispatch to repair agencies.

The technical problem is solved due to the fact that the damaged liner is removed from the barrel with the help of a device from the fighting compartment of the machine by pressing it out without impact.

A device for extracting the remainder of a damaged 30 mm sleeve from the barrel of an automatic gun 2A42 contains:

1.
