Abstract
A system that uses sea waves to accumulate water at a certain height for its use to obtain electricity and, if necessary, desalination consists of two or three functionally connected parts whose basic elements are: working float (1) connected to the inner cylinder (3) ) extending along the longitudinal axis of the float comprising a compression cylinder (2), with a stabilizer (30), along which it can, under the influence of sea waves, move up and down by pulling a sealing piston (4) to which it is connected by a rigid connection (5) so that its movement creates conditions, pressure and underpressure, to open one-way valves on the compression cylinder (2), inlet (6) or (7) or both and outlet valve (8) located at the inlet to the buoyancy pipe (9) which can go directly to the storage tank (10) from where the pipe (26) goes vertically downwards so that with the system (29) the controlled amount of water, through it, reaches the turbine (27) connected to the generator (28) by free fall. In order to include desalination in the whole process, the buoyancy pipe (9) bifurcates at a given height into a pipe (12) that goes into a closed evaporator tank (11) whose filling, up to a certain level, closes the tank and activates the pipe (13) which is at a slightly higher height and leads to a flow cooler (24) which comprises a tube (21) into which steam enters at the top of the evaporator (11), while the flow cooler (24) pours into the storage tank (10) at position (25), and condensed, desalinated water comes out of the pipe (23). In order to reduce the influence of the progressive movement of the wave on the working float (1), it can be fitted with arms (32), with floats (35) which ring-shaped or semi-ring-shaped (33) encloses columns (34) firmly buried in the bottom, as well as (or) to surround this part of the system with a barrier in the form of half-walls of the cylinder (37) which are offset from each other and placed so that their ends overlap considerably.
