Abstract

The invention relates to a process and device for the centering and alignment of two shaft semi-couplings. According to the invention, the process provides the checking of the centering inside the seat of the elastic member by accomodating a device in the said seat of the elastic member to permit the proper mounting of one of its supports and the largest possible stroke of the slide, in such a manner that after blocking the semi-couplings, the feelers of the measuring head indicate the relative position of the master semi-coupling in relation to the driven semi-coupling by δ a linear control displacements and the corresponding relative deviations δ x and δ y as deviations of the oz axis from the OZ axis, by means of some comparators, thereafter by comparing the triangles formed between the origin of the Cartesian system OXYZ, the axis OZ and the adjusting points of the master driving element of the semi-coupling to be adjusted, the correction deviations in the projection planes XOZ and YOZ of each bearing, along the axis OZ are determined, the dimension z=0 corresponding to the preset front play between the semi-couplings is adjusted and the relative deviations δ x and δ y are eliminated by corrections till δ x=0 and δ y =0 are obtained. According to the invention, the device applying the claimed process comprises a support (1) provided with a guiding rib (a), attached to the driven semi-coupling by means of a sliding key (2), driven by a screw (3) and provided with a roller (4), a slide (5) gliding along the support at the width size of the seat of the elastic member, said slide having a measuring head (6) provided with some feelers (7) orthogonally located in three directions, with some inextensible wires (8) stretched by some springs (9), said wires (8) being oriented by some rollers (10) and protected by some flexible sheaths (12), the wires (8) being attached at one end by means of some clamps (13) and at the other end by some couplers (15) to some comparators (16).
