Raed is a social app that serves as an online catalog of merchandise that allows the user to see products from various brands. Users can add products from different brands to their wish list page that will serve as their respective user profile pages. They can also view their friends' wish lists and get electronic gift card/discount coupons that they can use to purchase in retail stores.

Raed International is a smartphone Application that will connect and guide people through gift giving.
We know the stress and hassle when thinking, and looking for the perfect gift to give to someone in special occasions like Birthdays, Christmas season, Holidays and other more occasions. We chose a
Social App platform that connects people with the local malls and local stores, and soon have the international stores with Raed International as well.
Raed International serves as an online catalog of merchandise that allows the user to see products from various brands. User can add products from different brands to their wishlist page and they can also view their friends’ wish list in which they could purchase online or get gift cards/discount coupons that they can use to purchase in retail stores.
The App will showcase the latest and trendiest merchandise at the marketplace, sponsored brands, friends’ wishlists, and upcoming birthdays through the news feed and will let the users choose from a list of brands that can be added to their own wishlist.
User profile is very important for this App because it doesn't just show what the users want to receive as their gifts but it also gives the gift giver the correct information about the recipient from shoe size, pants size, shirt size, etc. Users are also allowed to put notes to make sure that gift givers get exactly what the recipient likes because that is what gift giving is all about.
The App will use facebook as an alternative way for them to register an account. Facebook friends who already have the App will be automatically added in the users account and friends who are not using the app can be invited through Facebook.
Users of the App can add items from various brands in their wish list that will be shown through in their profile when friends check their wish list.
Adding items in your wish list will allow your friends to be able

Items in your wishlist will be private for you and your friends only but has the option to go public as well.
Gift codes are for brands that users will purchase for their Gift Receivers.
THE ART OF GIFT GIVING
Raed International (App-based) _ App Design Document v' Idea —- “Gift Giving” 1.1 App Overview o Raed is a social app that serves as an online catalog of merchandise that allows the user to see products from various brands. Users can add products from different brands to their wish list page that will serve as their respective user profile pages. They can also view their friends’ wish lists and get electronic gift card/discount coupons that they can use to purchase in retail stores. 1.2 App Mechanics 1.2.1 App Description o The App will showcase the latest and trendiest merchandise in the marketplace. The home page will advertise all local and international brands that are listed in our brand selection page. Users will also be able to see their friends’ wish lists, and upcoming birthdays through the notifications panel. The categorical selection page serves as an innovation to revolutionize the way people browse products in our E- commerce platform. 1.2.2 User Profile o User profile is very important for Raed because the App does not just show what the users want to receive as their gifts but it also gives the gift giver the correct specific information about the recipient from shoe sizes, pants size, shirt size, etc. Users are also allowed to put notes to make sure that gift givers get exactly what the recipient likes because that is what gift giving is all about.
1.2.3 Brand stories o The respective brand stories Ul will contain the latest and popular trends that will serve as marketing content and strategy for our partnered brands that they could use to attract new and existing customers for them to ponder with all the updates and future product releases about the specific brand. 1.2.4 Wish list o Users of the App can add items from various brands in their wish list that will be shown through in their profile when friends check their wish list. o Adding items in your wish list will allow your friends to be able to “raid” the items and buy them for you with the gift code that is given by the App. o The contents of your wish list will be initially private for you and your Raed friends only but users may also choose and have the option to make it public to the general audience. 1.2.5 Shop System
The App has two ways of viewing products 1. Brand Selection Page (Home page) o This page serves as the brand listing page wherein when a specific brand logo is clicked, users will be able to see the respective brand profile pages with their catalogs and what's in store for people to choose from. o Products for all categories can be filtered by prices, gender selection, and different sub categories for people to have a great user experience in our
App. 2. Categorical Selection Page o This page contains different product categories and when clicked, users will be able to browse products according to the category selected wherein it offers the most convenient, easy-to-use, and interactive user interface for people to ponder with. o Contains the product swipe left/right feature Ul 1.2.6 Friends system : o Users can add friends manually by entering their friends’ secret code which can be found in their profile page. o The App will use the respective Facebook data that raed will acquire since people will log-in using Facebook, therefore user’s friends will automatically appear in the
App and may add them in Raed or invite to people to make their wish lists. o Users of the Raed App will also have the ability to share their wish lists or different products in their respective facebook accounts via Raed App options.
1.2.7 Electronic Gift coupons/Discount codes o Discount codes will be generated by the App and will be sponsored by brand trends and brand marketing strategies. o Discount codes will serve as a discount for users which will be presented to the physical retail stores to avail the said offer. Generated codes will have an expiry so users should use the codes within the said timeframe in the App. 1.3 Socialization o The App will use Facebook login for users to register an account. o Facebook friends who are already users of the app will automatically be added in the user's account and friends who are not using the App can be invited directly via :
Facebook. ’ 1.4 Art Direction o The App will portray a simple yet elegant design. User interface and feel should be able to convey each and every brand that is listed in the Brand Selection page. o The Ul will be very minimal, user friendly, classy, and very convenient to everyone. 1.5 E-commerce platform o As part of Raed’s business and development, users will be able to buy products through the App that Raed will buy/get from specific retail stores/warehouses or independent houses and then will be wrapped in our customized gift boxes that represents Raed’s advocacies in revolutionizing the idea of gift giving. o After being wrapped in Raed’s gift boxes, it will then be delivered to the respective buyer or recipient’s addresses that were given to raed specifically. reed

Shop system: 1) Brand selection page - it contains different brands that will be from the database and when pressed, users will be able to see products from that brand. Products for all categories can be filtered by prices. 2) Categorical Selection page - It contains different product categories and when pressed, user will be able to see products of all the brands partnered with Raed International according to the category selected. (A binary oriented User interface but only in the sense of products and this way people can ponder with whenever they are bored or just feel like browsing products online in a fun way) *The Art direction of Raed international will portray a simple yet elegant design. User interface and feel should be able to convey the brand and its philosophies in a way that it is very minimal and user friendly. *Raed International will be the first ever Social App in the Philippines that offers an innovative experience of online social "Mall-ing" and will potentially direct the customers to the existing stores everywhere.
Key points: 1) The Philippines records the highest figure of total screen time spent in social networking. 2) Gift shopping is not limited to the holiday season, but it goes on all throughout the year (Due tothe numerous reasons and occasions suitable for gift giving.) 3) We asked random shoppers about having an idea of an easy to use mobile app and they responded saying that it is an important factor in their decision to shop with a specific retailer. Consumers add that helpful, knowledgeable customer service, convenient locations, low prices and sale discounts also aid in their decision to shop at a particular retailer. 4) Comparing it to other E-Commerce platforms, Raed is not solely an E-Commerce platform but a “Online Social Mall-ing” innovation in a way that as much as possible we do not have product stocks in warehouses but only catalogs and product information in the User interface that will allow us to do the shopping for people and deliver it in the most fashionable and convenient way. 5) Mobile apps offer on-the-go marketing - With mobile applications, your existing customers can access your business anywhere and at any time in a user friendly environment.
