Then, the call center would notify the headquarters to establish a notification of the abnormal merchandise and to deliver the notification to the store computers. Later, when the store managers receive the notification from the headquarters, the store managers would order their staffs to pull the abnormal merchandises from the shelves according to the merchandise lot number recorded in the notification as soon as possible.
Please refer to Fig. 1, illustrating an example of a conventional notification of an abnormal merchandise. ~~ Conventionally, the notification is implemented by a notification document (for example, an e-mail). The content of the notification, commonly, includes a merchandise name, a merchandise serial number, and a merchandise manufacture date (or merchandise expiration date). Accordingly, the store staff can print out the notification document and pull the abnormal merchandises from the shelves based on the notification.
However, although the headquarters has already sent the notification to the stores, some abnormal merchandises might be still sold to the customers because of the following reasons. First, the store staffs who have not read the notification fail to pull the abnormal merchandises from the shelves right after the stores received the notification. Second, the cashier staff would allow the transaction of an abnormal merchandise taken by a customer at the time before it is pulled from the shelf but after the stores received the notification because both he/she and the point-of-sale system (for a" 2 example, the cashier) do not recognize the merchandise is abnormal. Thirdly, the store stuffs inadvertently keep a few of the abnormal merchandises on the shelf. When the abnormal merchandises are sold, the brand image and the goodwill of the store are damaged and the customers are unwilling to go to the stores. Moreover, the subsequential merchandise return and merchandise exchange can be embodied hardly.

Please refer to Fig. 2, illustrating a schematic block diagram of a first embodiment of an abnormal merchandise manage system according to the instant disclosure. The abnormal merchandise manage system is provided to detect a plurality of merchandises of a plurality of stores 7. Therefore, when some of the merchandises are abnormal, the abnormal merchandise manage system can be applied to manage the abnormal merchandises promptly to prevent the abnormal merchandises being sold. The abnormal merchandise manage system comprises a headquarters computer 2, a plurality of store computers 3 and a plurality of point-of-sale systems 4. The headquarters computer 2 is disposed at a headquarters 6, the store computers 3 and the point-of-sale systems 4 are respectively disposed at each of the stores 7. When a personnel in the headquarters 6 (hereinafter, called headquarters personnel) finds out an abnormal merchandise (or receive an abnormal merchandise notification), the headquarters personnel promptly establishes a file in the headquarters computer 2 and sends an off-shelf notification 231 to the store computers 3. Then, after the store computers 3 receive the off-shelf notification 231, each of the store computers 3 establishes an
> 5 abnormal merchandise file 321 and sends the abnormal merchandise file 321 to the corresponding point-of-sale system 4 to update the database of the point-of-sale system 4.
The definition of the corresponding point-of-sale system 4 is that, in one store 7, a store computer 3 corresponds to one point-of-sale system 4 or more. Accordingly, by using the point-of-sale system 4 to read the barcode assembly of the merchandise, the abnormal merchandise in the store 7 can be found out easily. Details about the aforementioned procedure are described later. For the sake of convenience, here, one headquarters computer 2 is mated with one store computer 3 and one point-of-sale system 4.
