IT ALSO DESCRIBES A METHOD FOR OPERATING A BLASTING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE STEPS OF ESTABLISHING A CONNECTION BETWEEN A BLASTING POWER SOURCE AND THE BLASTING POWER (S) AND PHYSICALLY MOVING A BLASTING SYSTEM COMPONENT FROM AN OPERATIVE POSITION SECURITY, WHICH IS VISIBLE TO THE OPERATOR; IN WHICH POWER FROM THE SOURCE CANNOT BE SUPPLIED TO THE DETONATOR (S) WHEN AN UNACCEPTABLE OR UNSAFE CONDITION ARISES IN THE BLASTING SYSTEM
