Abstract

Kortet benyttes til å sende minst delvis kodede, korte akustiske identifikasjonssignaler (20) av DTMF-typen, som mottas ved hjelp av mikrofonen (17) på et vanlig telefonapparat og behandles ved hjelp av det vanlige telefonapparatet (16) slik at det resulterende signalet kan sendes, gjennom et telefon- eller datamaskin-nettverk (15), til databehandlingstjenesten (18) hos minst en av personene (12) i den stasjonære gruppen. Signaler fra kortet behandles ved hjelp av spesiell programvare (26) hvis parametre er avhengige av kortets egenskaper, dets bruksforhold i kombinasjon med mikrofonen på telefonapparatet, og egenskaper i kommunikasjonsnettet for spesielle signaler som tilsvarer de sendte identifikasjonsdata.
