The hyperdimensional templates are generated in a multilayer series of cut-off, attribute, and statistical phases using data known to represent existing oil and gas reservoirs. The hyperdimensional templates are stored in the pattern database (188). Methods are described for identifying error classifications and otherwise determining the quality of the templates in the pattern database.
