Abstract

A sheet (2) of plaster material is releasably attached by means of electrostatic charging to the support foil (1). The plaster material sheet has an adhesive layer (3) attached to it, and on the adhesive layer is a relatively weak protective layer, particularly of silicon paper. On the protective layer (4) is a first engagement zone (6), which extends over a second engagement zone (7) attached to the adhesive layer which can be exposed, so that the sheet of plaster material can be securely stretched over and adhered to the part of the skin to be covered.

Description

PLEISTERIAMINAATPLASTER IAMATE

It is often a problem to use a self-adhesive foil plaster material, because such foils are often very thin, stretchable and electrostatically charged.

It is an object of the invention to provide a plaster laminate, of which a plaster material film forms part, the laminate being designed in such a way that it makes the plaster material film easy to handle and to apply.

In this connection, the invention provides a plaster laminate comprising, respectively: a carrier film; a foil of plaster material releasably connected thereto; an adhesive layer present thereon; and a protective layer relatively weakly adhered thereto; which carrier layer is connected to the carrier foil by means of a connecting strip over a first edge zone; and which protective layer shows a loose first engaging zone on a second edge zone facing away from the first edge zone.

The protective layer can be pulled away from the adhesive layer by engaging the engagement zone. The foil plaster material then still remains adhered to the carrier foil, but the adhesive layer has now been exposed, so that it can be adhered to a skin part to be covered, for example over a wound. Subsequently, the carrier layer is also separated from the foil plaster material by continued stripping. These two layers are relatively weakly connected.

In this way, the thin stretchable plastering material can be easily applied, because it is always supported during the application.

Bij voorkeur vertoont het pleisterlaminaat volgens 5 de uitvinding de bijzonderheid dat in het gebied van de eerste aangrijpzone aan de folie van pleistermateriaal een tweede aangrijpzone aanwezig is, die bij voorkeur via een verzwakkingszone, bijvoorbeeld een perforatielijn, daarmee verbonden is.Preferably, the plaster laminate according to the invention has the special feature that in the region of the first gripping zone on the foil of plaster material a second gripping zone is present, which is preferably connected thereto via a weakening zone, for example a perforation line.

A further advantageous embodiment has the special feature that the carrier foil and the foil of plaster material are connected to each other by means of electrostatic charge.

A specific variant has the feature that the support consists mainly of polyethylene.

The invention will now be elucidated with reference to the annexed drawings. Herein: figure 1 shows a perspective view of a laminate according to the invention; Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the laminate during the application of the plaster film; figure 3 is partly in perspective view and partly in cross-section the last phase of applying the plaster film; Figure 4 shows a perspective view of an embodiment corresponding to figure 1; figure 5 shows the cross section V-V from figure 4; figure 6 shows a perspective view of the phase shown in figure 2; and figure 7 shows a cross-section in the phase shown in figure 3, wherein figures 4, 5, 6 and 7 are shown schematically.

Tenslotte kan de tweede aangrijpzone 7 worden verwijderd langs de perforatie 8.Figures 1, 4 and 5 show a plaster laminate according to the invention. This comprises, respectively, a carrier foil 1, a foil 2 of plaster material releasably connected thereto by means of an electrostatic charge, to which an adhesive layer 3 is adhered, and a protective layer, for example silicone paper, which is relatively weakly adhered to said adhesive layer. A first engaging zone 6 is present on the protective layer 4, which in this embodiment extends over a second engaging zone 7 adhered to the adhesive layer 3. By engaging the respective engaging zones 6 and 7 as shown in figure 2, the adhesive layer can be exposed. 3 are realized in such a way that the foil 2 of plaster material can be applied to the part of the skin 9 to be covered without a certain tensile stress. As an example, a cut 10 is shown to be covered by the foil 2. After the foil 2 has thus been adhered to the skin 9 by means of the adhesive layer 3, the carrier foil 1 is removed in the manner shown in figure 3 by moving the protective layer 4 upwards according to arrow 11 by engaging the first engagement zone. 6. The adhesion of the foil 2 to the skin 9 is considerably stronger than the adhesion between the carrier foil 1 and the foil of plaster material. The carrier foil 2 can thus be easily removed. Finally, the second engagement zone 7 can be removed along the perforation 8.

It is pointed out that the perspective films 20 are very thin and therefore the drawings are not drawn to scale. For the record, attention is drawn to the fact that the perforation line 8 forms the transition between the usable part of the foil 2 of the plaster material and the second engagement zone. The perforation 8 need not extend into the carrier foil 1.

Attention is also drawn to the fact that the second engagement zone can also be used for taking notes.
