Abstract
Described herein is a method that enables an IP device (200) that is capable of IP communication and at least one Internet of Things (loT) device (100) that is not capable of IP communication to communicate with each other in IP manner. Generally, the method works by providing the loT device (100) with virtual IP services, specifically to allocate and link the loT device (100) with a virtual IP address, making the loT device (100) to be virtually IP addressable and identifiable via the allocated virtual IP address. Also described herein is a system for executing the aforesaid method. Best illustrative figure: Figure 1
