OBJECTS AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION The purpose of the invention is to provide a process by means of which payment records in advance payments can be made in a simple and secure manner. This object, according to the invention, is solved with a process of the type described at the beginning, which has the following steps: provide a subscription so that the subscriber's telephone number and the amount of the desired subscription, are entered into a device which contains an algorithm for encoding a message, and the device produces an encoded number containing the subscriber's telephone number, the amount of the subscription as well as other desired information; registering the subscription in a corresponding function unit of the telephone network / radio network, by selecting a special capture code and entering the coded number in the subscriber's telephone apparatus, and as a result, decoding the encrypted number and the registration of the subscriber's subscription; cancel the corresponding amount of the subscription for the corresponding telephone conversation. A process for registering subscriptions for an advance payment service in telephony, characterized by the following steps: providing a subscription so that the subscriber's telephone number and the amount of the desired subscription are entered in a device that contains an algorithm for coding a message and the device produces an encoded number containing the subscriber's telephone number, the amount of the subscription as well as other information that is desired; registering the subscription in a corresponding function unit of the telephone network / radio network, by selecting a special capture code and entering the coded number in the subscriber's telephone apparatus and, as a result, decoding the encrypted number and the registration of the subscriber's subscription; cancel the corresponding amount of the subscription for the corresponding telephone conversation.
