Abstract
Un sistema computarizado para realizar operaciones de preparación para una actividad de mantenimiento que ocasione una interrupción en un trayecto o tráfico de comunicación sobre la red de multicapas. El sistema que comprende: una herramienta de mantenimiento configurada para coordinar actividades de mantenimiento de la red de multicapas con base en los datos de la actividad de mantenimiento, una unidad de almacenamiento para almacenar los datos de la actividad de mantenimiento; y un sistema de control de multicapas que comprenden un procesador, en donde dicho procesador está configurado para: recibir de la herramienta de mantenimiento una indicación de que se requieren una o más actividades de mantenimiento en un recurso óptico indicado, determinar un trayecto óptico afectado, determinar un enlace IP afectado que utiliza dicho trayecto óptico afectado; eliminar el tráfico del enlace IP afectado; eliminar el trayecto óptico afectado; activar un trayecto óptico alternativo; configurar la capa de conmutación de paquetes para que utilice el trayecto óptico alternativo y repetir para cada trayecto óptico afectado y cada enlace IP afectado.
