Abstract
Un sistema de atención a pacientes que comprende un dispositivo médico (1) para la administración de un tratamiento médico a un paciente (15a) y un sistema de servidores (6) configurado para recibir y transmitir datos a través de una red de comunicaciones (16) a, respectivamente desde usuarios que incluyen pacientes (15a) y profesionales del cuidado de la salud (15b), el sistema de servidores estando adicionalmente configurado para procesar y almacenar datos relacionados con la atención a pacientes; el sistema de servidores comprende una base de datos (6c) configurada para encriptar y almacenar datos encriptados que están relacionados con la atención a pacientes, un servidor de aplicaciones (6b) que incluye componentes de software de atención a pacientes para gestión de enfermedades (36) y gestión de información de paciente (32), un servidor de comunicaciones (6a) que incluye una aplicación de software de servidor web para transferencia de datos a través del Internet, los componentes de software de atención a pacientes siendo operables para recibir datos de uso de dispositivo médico que comprenden datos sobre el uso de dicho dispositivo médico transferidos a través de la red de comunicaciones, y siendo operables adicionalmente para procesar dichos datos de uso de dispositivo médico junto con datos de paciente (32c) para generar un informe (32f) o una pluralidad de informes relacionados con el tratamiento del paciente, los informes siendo accesibles de forma remota a través de la red de comunicaciones por usuarios registrados del sistema de atención a pacientes en función de respectivos roles y privilegios del usuario registrado que están almacenados en el sistema de servidores.
