Abstract

The invention is a system for controlling and measuring the electric consumption in electric and electronic appliances and electric installations in a remote and local manner with monitoring of digital sensors and devices connected thereto, where any type of electric and electronic device and electric installation can be connected thereto for measuring the electric consumption, with the purpose of saving energy and applying corrective or preventive measures with regard to the consumption. The information may be displayed in different technologies for using the remote system, without losing sight that the system may be locally controlled upon adding physical buttons acting as electric switches. The system has microcontrollers in the measuring step; these are advantageous in that they do not miss any measurement that may be unnoticed. The present invention turns the obtained consumption information into cost equivalences (applying rates), as well as to other units based on equivalence a nd conversion tables of public domain or defined by the users.

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention refers to a system of local and remote monitoring of electricity consumption, which obtains information on electricity consumption and converts it into equivalences in costs (applying tariffs) as well as to other units based on tables of equivalences and known conversions from the public domain. or to be defined by the users; it energizes or restricts the power supply of the different electrical, electronic and electrical installations with which it has communication in order to save energy or take preventive or corrective actions regarding consumption.
BACKGROUND Traditional systems for measuring electrical energy have been characterized as consisting of electromechanical systems, which have limited functions.
The technological advance has allowed the emergence of devices that measure the consumption of electrical appliances, electronics and electrical installations, which have a direct benefit for the distributor of the same but these do not present useful information for the user, since they do not convert the electrical consumption or electronic to other units of measurement such as may not be limited to monetary or pollution factors or hours of use and expected life.
Other devices do not have the possibility of storing information and criteria to energize or restrict the power supply of electrical and electronic devices or devices; to receive commands locally or remotely; to alert users when a measurement is reached or an unexpected event occurs; to interact through multiple protocols and communications technologies; to interact with cellular equipment and mobile computing that store, process and graph data.
In addition, by themselves, the systems of control and measurement of consumption in electrical and electronic devices and devices as well as electrical installations do not include digital sensors that allow obtaining information of the situation of the place where they are connected and based on said information they take a decision about electrical consumption, such as turning off an air conditioner and turning on a fan, etc.
The proposed system has control of electrical and electronic equipment and appliances and electrical installations remotely, using different technologies at the same time, this is important since there are devices in the market that use remote control, but they limit to use a single technology and with it, they do not adapt to all the needs of the users. Therefore, the proposed system adapts to this need and implements it encompassing the most modern technologies.

Block diagram of the operation of the complete system DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a control and consumption measurement system for electrical, electronic and electrical installations characterized by a hardware unit, at least one embedded program, at least one application program and different levels of security, which interact with the user.
Said hardware unit contains, among others, mechanical, electrical, electronic and electromechanical elements, which may be more than limited to cables, components, cabinets, peripherals of all kinds and any other physical element involved.
Each embedded program makes up one stage of the system, the system works with a single independent stage or with different stages, which in a more non-limiting manner are a transmission and reception stage (1), a control stage (2), a stage of wired communication protocols (3), a charging stage (4), a census stage (5), a communication stage with a data processing equipment (6), a wireless communication stage (7) and a power stage (8).
The application program includes a communication interface with the user, to review information in real time or manage the information generated by the system. Security levels are generated from the access allowed to each user, defined by criteria, commands or configuration of parameters. Each user can have a different access code with different levels of control and administration, with which he can configure criteria or send commands so that based on them he can be energized or restrict the power supply of electrical, electronic or electrical equipment in order to make more efficient the electrical consumption, send alerts, store information, execute programmed actions, actions that must be performed when certain events occur or when one or more users give instructions that you must execute; Users can massively store the data obtained, remotely and locally, and can also display information on a screen, a communication device, which can be a smartphone, a tablet and other portable and desktop computers.
