Abstract

Sistemas, métodos y aparatos para determinar si un cultivo en un recipiente contiene en proporcion una pluralidad de microorganismos. El valor de una relativa normalización se calcula para cada medición respectiva de un estado biológico del cultivo entre (i) la medición respectiva y (ii) un estado biológico inicial. Para cada intervalo fijo de puntos de tiempo, un derivado de la normalización de los valores relativos en el intervalo de puntos de tiempo se calcula, para formar una pluralidad de valores tasa de transformación. Para cada conjunto de valores de transformación en el tipo de pluralidad de valores tasa de transformación, una medida de tendencia central de los valores en el conjunto se calcula, para formar una pluralidad de los valores medios de transformación relativa. A efecto de determinar si el cultivo contiene los microorganismos que se haga en función de si cualquier valor promedio calculado de transformación relativa excede un primer umbral, o si una medida del crecimiento exhibido por la cultivo excede un segundo umbral.
