Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte aux systèmes d'estimation de vitesse, ou encore cinémomètres, qui sont utilisés en particulier pour réaliser des détections d'infraction au code de la route (excès de vitesse). Elle s'intègre à un procédé permettant de mesurer la vitesse de déplacement d'objets (100) devant une caméra vidéo (105). On prévoit, dans cette invention (fig 1) d'utiliser au moins une caméra supplémentaire (110), qui est placée parallèlement sur un l'axe (ex) (115) à la première caméra et qui est éloignée d'elle d'une distance(120) connue. Ce décalage permet de réaliser des calculs de distances sur des points du plan où se déplacent les véhicules en utilisant l'effet stéréoscopique . Cela permet de calibrer le système en associant des coordonnées métriques aux points de l'image sur la route puis de faire des calculs des vitesses dedéplacement des objets mobile devant la caméra (105) voir (fig.2)The present invention relates to speed estimation systems, or filmmeters, which are used in particular for detecting violations of the highway code (speeding).
