본 발명은 KBPS(Korea Broadcasting Program System)기능을 갖는 비디오 카세트 레코더에서 소정 항목으로 분류된 방송 프로그램의 분류에 해당하는 방송 프로그램의 목록을 예약 정보로 설정 및 해제할 수 있도록 한 비디오 카세트 레코더에서의 예약 녹화 방법에 관한 것으로서, 방송 분류 화면을 디스플레이하기 위한 방송 분류키 신호가 인가되는지를 판단하는 단계와; 상기 방송 분류키 신호가 인가되면 설정된 방송 프로그램의 분류 항목을 디스플레이하는 단계와; 디스플레이된 분류 항목을 선택하기 위한 분류 선택키 신호가 인가되는지를 판단하는 단계와; 상기 분류 선택키 신호가 인가되면 인가된 선택키 신호에 대응하는 방송 프로그램 목록을 독출하여 디스플레이하는 단계와; 디스플레이된 방송 프로그램 목록을 예약 녹화로 설정하기 위한 예약키 신호가 인가되면 디스플레이된 방송 프로그램 목록 전부를 예약 녹화로 저장하는 단계와; 디스플레이된 방송 프로그램 목록을 예약 녹화 취소하기 위한 취소키 신호가 인가되면 디스플레이된 방송 프로그램 목록 전부를 예약 취소하는 단계를 포함하여, 예약 녹화를 보다 간단히 설정 및 해제할 수 있는 것이다.The present invention provides a reservation in a video cassette recorder in which a video cassette recorder having a KBPS (Korea Broadcasting Program System) function can set and release a list of broadcast programs corresponding to a classification of broadcast programs classified into predetermined items as reservation information.
