Abstract
본 발명은 영상신호의 프레임율을 변환하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 종래의 프레임율 변환 시스템을 이용하는 경우 정지부위에서는 아무런 문제점이 없으나 움직임이 있는 부위, 특히 움직임이 빠른 부위에서는 눈에 거슬리는 현상이 발생되고, 더욱이 대형 스크린에 디스플레이할 경우 더욱 심각하게 나타나는 문제점이 있었는 바, 본 발명은 이를 해결하기 위하여, 왜곡값과 움직임 정보를 이용하여 움직임 부위와 그 이외의 부위를 적응적으로 보간하고, 입력영상의 프레임율과 출력 프레임율에 따라 저장하고 읽어낸 다음 스위칭 수단을 이용하여 최종 프레임율로 출력함으로써 프레임율을 변환할 때 움직임 부위가 눈에 거슬리게 나타는 현상을 방지할 수 있다.The present invention relates to a technique for converting a frame rate of an image signal, and when using a conventional frame rate conversion system, there is no problem in the stationary part, but an uncomfortable phenomenon occurs in a moving part, especially a fast moving part.
