Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a dental oral cavity external device and a dental oral cavity external treatment system including the same.
A variety of dental intraoral or extra-oral devices have been used for various purposes such as correction and treatment. For example, dental oral devices such as orthodontic appliances, dentures, irregular devices, amphora devices, and face masks have been used.
When performing various dental treatments such as orthodontic treatment and various treatments using such dental intraoral devices, it is necessary to measure the force acting by the device. In the past, a method of measuring the occlusal force by attaching a sensor to an intraoral structure for the purpose of performing dentures and implants has been introduced. In other words, the sensor was installed in the structure to be inserted into the oral cavity, and the occlusal force of the patient was measured and used in the manufacturing and operation of the actual device.
In this prior art, only the dynamic bite force of the teeth in the dental clinic was measured and used in real time.
Recently, however, the use of various types of dental oral devices has necessitated not only the measurement of the occlusal force, but also the prediction of the actual effect and the life of the device, and the acquisition of various necessary information for the treatment or correction.
The object of the present invention is to provide a dental oral cavity external device capable of acquiring information on the real time function and wear time of a dental oral cavity external device and a dental oral cavity external cavity treatment system including the same.
The dental oral cavity external device installed inside or outside the oral cavity according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a main body formed to be worn inside or outside the oral cavity and a wireless sensor installed in the main body. The wireless sensor measures at least one of the action information and the wearing time of the dental mouthpiece, and stores corresponding information.
The action information may include one or more of strain, stress, and pressure.
The dental oral cavity external treatment system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an oral cavity external device installed inside and outside the oral cavity and equipped with a wireless sensor, and a wireless receiver device performing wireless communication with the wireless sensor. The oral cavity external device includes a main body formed to be worn inside and outside the oral cavity, and the wireless sensor is installed in the main body.
