Abstract
Computing technology, and more particularly, to a system and method for providing location information of goods within a store. And a method and system for providing merchandise location information for providing information about a location of a merchandise desired by a customer to a customer in a store.
A first electronic information display device is provided for displaying a plurality of goods information for each shop. The first electronic information display device transmits the selected product information to the management server when the customer selects the desired product information from the plurality of goods information displayed by the first electronic information display device. When the management server receives the product information, it calculates the position of the selected product.
Description
A computing technology, and more particularly, a system for providing location information of a merchandise within a store is disclosed.
In general, a plurality of commodity shelves can be arranged in a store, and various commodities can be displayed on each commodity shelf, so it is sometimes difficult for a consumer to find a desired commodity.
In particular, in the case of a large-sized store, even if a customer views a billboard in a store or a poster displaying a discounted product, it may take a long time to find the position where the product to be purchased is displayed.
In addition, it is easy to find merchandise location on a smart phone by providing merchandise information and guidance service to the smartphone owned by the customer, but it is difficult to find it in the store immediately.
And a method and system for providing merchandise location information for providing information about a location of a merchandise desired by a customer to a customer in a store.
Furthermore, the object of the present invention is to provide the product position information to the customer by using at least one of the electronic label device and the illumination installed around the product to be purchased by the customer.
Another object of the present invention is to shorten the time required for finding a product to be purchased by a customer so that the customer can be interested in more products.
According to one aspect, a first electronic information display device is provided for displaying a plurality of goods information in a specific location of a store, for example, in the vicinity of a store. The first electronic information display device transmits the selected product information to the management server when the customer selects the desired product information from the plurality of goods information displayed by the first electronic information display device. When the management server receives the product information, it calculates the position of the selected product.
According to another optional aspect, the merchandise location indicating device is installed on the ceiling or the shelf. The management server controls the goods position display device adjacent to the goods selected by the customer to be activated. For example, the product location display device can guide the customer through the light emission.
According to yet another optional aspect, the management server may control to activate a second electronic information device adjacent to the merchandise selected by the customer. For example, the second electronic information device can guide the customer through the blinking of a specific marker to guide the position of the item.
According to another optional aspect, the management server may control to activate the goods location indicator and the second electronic information device adjacent to the goods selected by the customer.
According to another optional aspect, the customer can select the product information displayed on the touch screen by touching.
By displaying the position of the desired product by the customer, the customer can easily find the desired product, thereby increasing the customer satisfaction using the store.
Furthermore, by displaying the position of the product related to the desired product by the recommended product and the discounted product customer, it is possible to induce additional sales.
