Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for temporarily locking screen rotation in a mobile device.
The conventional screen rotation method was to detect the tilt of the device and to keep the screen in the vertical direction of the ground. However, this method is accurate only when the user is always standing upright or lying on his back, and when the user is lying sideways, he has to view the screen in the wrong direction. In addition, there was the inconvenience that when a photograph having a photographing angle difference of 90 degrees is adjusted to a full size on the screen, the photograph is returned to 90 degrees when the screen is set again.
The present invention solves this inconvenience and attempts to implement a mode in which the user can temporarily lock the screen rotation.
The temporary screen rotation locking method according to the present invention is most simply summarized as follows: the user rotates the device while fixing the screen by pressing it with a finger. In other words, if the user rotates the device while pressing the screen with his / her finger and then releases his / her finger, the screen is not rotated even if the slant of the device is turned to the temporary rotation lock mode. Further, when the inclination is restored after that, the temporary rotation lock mode is released.
The present invention has the effect of allowing the user to view the correct screen even when the user is lying on his or her side.
1 is a flowchart of a temporary rotation locking method according to the present invention.
2 is a flowchart of a method of releasing the temporary rotation lock mode according to the present invention in a state in which there is no touch signal.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The advantages and features of the present invention and the manner of achieving them will be apparent from the following detailed description of the principles of the invention and the embodiments thereof which are illustrated in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. The present invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the concept of the invention to those skilled in the art. Is provided to fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art, and the invention is only defined by the scope of the claims.
First, a temporary screen rotation locking method according to the present invention is briefly summarized as follows: Before a user rotates a device, the device rotates while the screen is fixed with a finger. In other words, if the user rotates the device while pressing the screen with his / her finger and then releases his / her finger, the screen is not rotated even if the slant of the device is turned to the temporary rotation lock mode. Further, when the inclination is restored after that, the temporary rotation lock mode is released.
However, in general, when a user presses a point on the screen for a long time (an input operation that presses a certain point on the screen for a predetermined time or longer), a predetermined function is often performed. For example, in a text editor, if you tap and hold somewhere on the editing screen, the Copy / Paste pop-up menu will pop up and follow the steps below. Therefore, in order to perform the function according to the present invention in the same manner in the apparatus to which the present invention is applied, it is necessary to avoid collision with another function operated by long press. The avoiding method according to the present invention is to release other functions operated by long press when the device is turned in a long press state and to accept it as an operation for temporary rotation lock.
In addition, it is also necessary to set the temporary rotation lock mode by such a method, and then return to the normal mode by a certain condition. In the present invention, the tilt state of the device is automatically released at the moment when the tilt state of the device coincides with the screen in the temporary rotation lock mode.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
1 is a flowchart of a temporary rotation locking method according to the present invention.
This flowchart shows the principle that the temporary rotation lock mode is operated when the user turns the device while holding the finger on the screen. This will be explained according to the flow.
In order to perform the temporary rotation lock mode according to the present invention without collision with other functions according to a situation occurring after the user places a finger on the screen,
When a touch signal is sensed on the touch screen (100)
It is determined whether the duration of the touch exceeds the threshold value (200)
If the touch-off occurs in the state where the threshold value is not exceeded (210), the function defined for the operation of touching the original is briefly performed (220)
If the threshold is exceeded, prepare to perform the function defined in the long press (300)
Then, it is determined whether the slope change of the device is larger than the threshold value (400)
If the touch-off occurs in a state where the slope change of the device is not greater than the
If the slope change of the device exceeds the threshold, the " ready to perform function defined by long press " is immediately canceled (500)
Thereafter, when the touch is turned off (600)
The difference between the slope of the screen and the device is compared to determine whether it is above the threshold (700)
If the difference between the slopes of the device and the screen is equal to or greater than the threshold value (i.e., the screen is displayed so as not to match the tilt of the device), the temporary rotation lock mode is started (800)
If it is not equal to or greater than the threshold (i.e., the screen is being output to match the tilt of the device), the temporary rotation lock may be released 710. In this last case, since the tilt and orientation of the screen are correct even though the tilt change has occurred to the extent that the screen has to be rotated, this means that the screen was previously in a state in which the tilt and orientation did not match, that is, Able to know. Therefore, since the tilt is returned after that, the temporary rotation lock mode can be released.
As described above, it is possible to understand how the present invention performs a temporary rotation lock mode without collision with other functions by processing each state according to a situation in which a touch signal is received on a screen and subsequently occurring .
The following explains a method of releasing the temporary rotation lock mode in a state in which there is no touch signal.
2 is a flowchart of a method of releasing the temporary rotation lock mode according to the present invention in a state in which there is no touch signal.
To perform the temporary rotation lock mode without touch signals, without conflict with other functions,
(1000) continuously monitors the tilt information of the device from an operation recognition sensor (e.g., tilt sensor) in a state where there is no touch signal on the touch screen,
If it is detected that the change in the slope of the device is greater than the threshold (2000)
(3000), and then,
If the current state is the normal mode, rotate the screen to fit the tilt (4000)
If the current state is the temporary rotation lock mode, release the temporary rotation lock (3100).
The following is a description of how you can easily learn these new features for your users.
All mobile devices that provide the screen in either of two modes, either landscape or portrait, offer the option of locking the screen rotation. The option menu is additionally provided not only in the setting menu but also in the quick menu. In order to guide the user to a new function according to the present invention, a user who sets a screen rotation lock in such a menu may be provided with a popup guide as soon as the setting operation is completed, and the function according to the present invention may be described.
