A broadcasting program recommending method and a system applying the same using channel change information for recommending the broadcasting program are provided to recommend the broadcasting program at real time by retransmitting preference information and evaluating preference according to the broadcasting program. A signal collection agreeing unit(110) processes a consent about a channel switching information collection from a user. A channel change information collector(120) collects the channel change information whenever a user alters channel. A channel change information transmitter(130) transmits the channel change information to a broadcast recommendation service server(200). A preference information receiver informs the preference information to the channel change information collection.
