A method for providing a contents service on the Internet by using a cyber UCC(User Created Contents) contest is provided to determine ranking of UCCs received from users and give prize money to winners according to the ranking. A user makes UCC and applies the UCC to a cyber UCC contest(202). The UCCs applied to the cyber UCC contest are evaluated by the users(203). A contest result and ranking are posted in a website of the cyber UCC contest(204). Prize money is given to the users making the prized UCC according to a prize money division logic(205).
