Description
1 is a flow chart showing a voice message transmission method using a short message according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The present invention relates to a portable terminal, and more particularly, to a voice message service method using a short message that enables a receiving terminal to reproduce a voice message in addition to a text through a short message.
In general, a portable terminal provides a short message service (SMS) in addition to a voice call. The short message is capable of transmitting a total of 80 bytes of text, and serves to transmit and receive a short message between terminals.
Recently, in addition to simple text service that provides text only, multimedia messages (MMS) have been used to transmit text, video or audio data together using multimedia messages. Thus, an upgraded message service can be used in a text message exchange service.
However, in order to transmit voice data together with a text message through a conventional portable terminal, MMS should be used. In this case, the MMS accesses a server and uploads a video message or a voice message (multimedia data) other than the text message to the server. When the MMS is notified to the counterpart terminal, the receiving terminal has a problem in that it needs to access the server and download the multimedia data in order to confirm the received MMS. In addition, there is a problem that takes a predetermined time to upload and download the multimedia data. In addition, there has been a problem in that both MMS transceivers have to pay the charges per packet of MMS multimedia data.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a voice message service method using a short message that enables a receiving terminal to reproduce a voice message in addition to a text through a short message.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a portable terminal in which a predetermined number of identical voice data are pre-stored at the time of mass production for each manufacturer,
단문메시지 발신 모드 실행시, 단문메시지를 통해 음성메시지를 전송하는 음성 메시지 모드 선택에 따라 기 저장된 음성 데이터에 해당하는 음성 메시지 정보로 전송하는 과정과;Transmitting the voice message information corresponding to the pre-stored voice data according to the voice message mode selection for transmitting the voice message through the short message when the short message transmission mode is executed;
Upon receiving the transmitted text message, it is determined whether the short message includes the voice message information, and according to the determination result, the voice data corresponding to the voice message information is read and the voice data is reproduced. .
Hereinafter, an embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It should be noted that in the following description, only parts necessary for understanding the operation and operation according to the present invention will be described, and descriptions of other parts will be omitted so as not to distract from the gist of the present invention.
In the following description, specific details of the voice message service method using the short message of the present invention are shown to provide a more general understanding of the present invention. It will be apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art that the present invention may be readily practiced without these specific details and also by their modifications.
First, the present invention is based on the premise that a unique index must be allocated and stored for each voice data together with voice data such as a ringtone / melody that is basically provided in mass production by the same terminal manufacturer. At this time, the code list is made by determining the size of 000 to 128: 8 bits, 00 to 64: 7 bits, or 00 to 32: 6 bits according to the number of voice data.
1 is a flowchart illustrating a method of transmitting a voice message using a short message according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 1, in
As a result of the determination, in the short message transmission mode, it is determined in
However, if the voice message mode is not selected as the result of the determination, the process proceeds to the general short message sending mode in
On the other hand, if the voice message mode is selected as the determination result, in
In
Accordingly, voice message information according to the voice data selected in
First, there is a method of transmitting a packet including a corresponding index information of voice data selected by a user in a predetermined bit of a pid field of a short message packet.
For example, in the case of GSM, the PID field is not used as 8 bits in the short message packet. In particular, if the first two bits of the 8 bits are "10", the remaining 6 bits are not used. Indicates corresponding index information of the selected voice data.
Secondly, there is a method of allocating a predetermined byte in the data area of the short message to transmit a flag including a flag indicating that the voice message is in the voice message mode and corresponding index information of the voice data.
For example, one byte is used as a flag indicating the voice message mode in front of 80 bytes of short messages, and the corresponding index information of the voice data selected by the user is shown in the next byte.
The voice message created through this process is transmitted to the counterpart terminal desired by the user.
In
In
That is, it is determined whether voice message information exists in the short message transmitted through one of the first and second methods described above.
As a result of the determination, if the voice message information does not exist, the process proceeds to
However, if the voice message information exists as a result of the determination, in
In
Meanwhile, in the detailed description of the present invention, specific embodiments have been described, but various modifications are possible without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of the present invention should not be limited to the described embodiments, but should be defined not only by the scope of the following claims, but also by the equivalents of the claims.
As described in detail above, the present invention transmits image message information corresponding to image data to be transmitted through a short message (SMS), and uploads the image data to a server and transmits the image data. There is an effect that can send and receive video messages without the hassle of having to download the video data.
In addition, there is an effect that can send and receive video messages without the time required for uploading and downloading to the server.
In addition, since the charge is not charged according to the packet of the video data, it is not only economically advantageous to the sender who transmits the video message and the receiver who receives the video message, and also the number of times of using the video message through the short message is available at any time. There is an effect that can be increased.
