Description
The present invention relates to a gain adjustment method of a downloaded music file. The present invention relates to a gain adjustment method of a downloaded music file that can realize a constant gain music file by detecting a level and adjusting gain for each downloaded music file.
Music files downloaded from mobile phones vary widely in gain (Gain) for each song. Therefore, when you download music files to your phone, some songs are too small and some songs are too loud, so you may not hear the sound of music or the speaker is torn even if you adjust the volume of your phone.
The present invention was devised to solve the above problems, and provides a gain adjusting method of a downloaded music file which detects the level of the downloaded music file and plays a music file of a certain size if the user adjusts the gain. For the purpose of
To this end, the gain adjustment method of the downloaded music file according to the present invention detects the level of the audio signal when the downloaded music file is played and obtains a maximum value of the level, and subtracts the DC bias voltage from the maximum value to obtain a peak value. And calculating the gain by an audio gain corresponding to the ADC value of the peak value, and replaying the music file with the adjusted gain.
Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Generally, North American export models use CMX Midi as a music file. In the embodiment of the present invention, a user downloads a MIDI song and adjusts the gain of the MIDI song as an example.
In order to play a MIDI song on a mobile phone, a user must first download the MIDI song directly through the wireless Internet or download the MIDI song from the Internet to a PC, and then download the MIDI song to the mobile phone again using a USB port.
1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a process of playing a music file in a mobile phone.
As shown in FIG. 1, when a MIDI song (CMX Midi) is downloaded to a cellular phone, the MSM 10, which is a baseband of the cellular phone, generally processes the MIDI song and outputs the audio signal. The audio signal output from the MSM 10 is amplified by the audio amplifier 20, and the amplified audio signal is reproduced as music sound to the user's ear through the speaker 30.
The gain adjustment method of the music file according to the present invention is to appropriately implement the music sound reproduced through the speaker 30 by detecting the level of the audio signal output from the MSM 10 and adjusting the gain accordingly.
Now, with reference to Figure 2 will be described a gain adjustment method of the downloaded music file according to the present invention. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a gain adjustment method of a downloaded music file according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 2, when a MIDI song is downloaded to a mobile phone and the MIDI song is executed, the MSM 10 processes the MIDI song and outputs the audio signal as described in FIG. 1. At this time, the audio signal is fed back to the Audio_ADC terminal of the MSM 10 so that the MSM 10 detects the level of the audio signal. The level of the audio signal is detected at a predetermined period for a predetermined time, and then the largest level among them is selected to obtain the maximum value Vmax of the audio level. In the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, the audio signal level is detected every 10 ms, the detection operation is performed for 10 seconds, and then the largest level is selected and temporarily stored.
Since the stored maximum value includes the DC bias, measure the DC bias voltage (Vdc) and subtract the measured DC bias voltage from the maximum value (Vp = Vmax-Vdc). Through this calculation, a peak value Vp is obtained, which is then the basis for audio gain adjustment.
For example, when managing the speaker output at a maximum of 0.5W, when a signal of more than 0.5W is generally input, a sound of being torn or distorted by the speaker 30 is output. Therefore, when the maximum output of the speaker is 0.5W, it is necessary to manage the output of the audio signal below 0.5W.
In the embodiment of the present invention, it is assumed that the amplification gain of the audio amplifier 20 is 1, the maximum value of the speaker output is 0.5W, and the speaker resistance is 8Ω.
스피커 출력(P) = V×I = Vrms×Vrms/R 이므로,Since speaker output (P) = V × I = Vrms × Vrms / R,
To ensure that speaker outputs do not exceed 0,5W, Vrms must not exceed 2V, so that Vp (= √2 × Vrms) must not exceed 2.83.
Table 1 shows Vrms, Vp, and ADC_level (ADC value) when the speaker output is from 0 to 0.5W under the above conditions.
As can be seen from Table 1, the ADC value is set from 0 to 255. If the ADC value is large, the audio gain is decreased. If the ADC value is small, the audio gain is increased. When the ADC value is in the 0-81 range, the audio gain is increased by +6 dB. Increase the gain by + 3dB, do not adjust the audio gain to see the proper value when in the 180-225 range, and reduce the audio gain by -3dB when in the 234-255 range.
When the peak value is calculated as described above, the ADC value is calculated from the calculated peak value, and then the gain is adjusted by the audio gain corresponding to the ADC value. For example, if the peak value is 1.50, the ADC value for the peak value is 135, and the audio gain corresponding to the ADC value is +3 dB. Thus, gain adjustment is performed by adding +3 dB to the gain of the current audio signal. When the gain is adjusted, the MIDI gain is processed by the MSM 10 again with the adjusted gain to give a normal music sound to the user.
The ADC value is calculated from the peak value, and as a result, the gain can be automatically adjusted when audio gain adjustment is required, but a process of asking the user whether to adjust the gain can be added. That is, a message is displayed on the screen of the mobile phone asking whether the audio gain has been changed so that the user can select "Yes" so that gain adjustment can be performed.
As described above, the present invention can automatically tune the gain of the audio signal or tune to the desired gain value when the music of the downloaded music file is too small or too large to adjust the music sound due to the volume adjustment on the mobile phone. By doing so, there is an effect that the user can hear the appropriate music sound.
