Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for announcing a memo in a mobile terminal is provided to display a text memo and announce the contents of the memo by voice when a mobile terminal informs a user about the memo. In case that the event is matched with the announcement method, the mobile terminal judges whether a stored text memo is in the memory(S14). If a stored text memo is in the memory, the mobile terminal displays the contents of the memo(S15). Then the mobile terminal converts the memo into voice data using a TTS(Text To Speech) codec and outputs the converted data through the speaker(S16).
