Abstract
Description
본 발명은 백색가전(냉장고, 세탁기), AV기기(TV, Audio), 사무가전(복사기, 팩스), 정보기기(컴퓨터, PDA) 등의 다양한 전자제품으로 이루어진 홈 네트웍을 특정 기술이나 제품에 종속되지 않고도 구성과 운영이 가능하도록 하는 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 종래의 이러한 홈 네트웍 관련 기술로는 HNCP(Home Network Control Protocol), UPNP(Universal Plug and Play), Jini, Powerbus, CEBus, X10 등이 있다. 종래의 이러한 홈 네트 웍 기술들은 각기 고유의 기기 및 서비스 탐색기능과 운영기능을 가지고 있어서 서로 다른 기술을 따르는 기기간에 직접 서비스를 제공하거나 제공받는 것이 불가능했다.The present invention subordinates a home network made of various electronic products such as white appliances (refrigerator, washing machine), AV equipment (TV, Audio), office appliances (copier, fax), information equipment (computer, PDA) to a specific technology or product. 상기의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명에서 제안하는 시스템 및 방법은, 기존의 다양한 기술에서 서로 다르게 수행되는 서비스 탐색(검색, 등록) 기능을 통합 수행하여 서로 다른 기술을 적용한 기기 간에 사용 가능한 서비스를 검색하고 등록할 수 있게 해주는 통합 탐색, 홈 네트웍 상에서 개별 기기에 적용된 기술과 무관하게 탐색 된 서비스를 획득하여 실행할 수 있는 통합 운영 부분으로 구성된다.In order to achieve the above object, the system and method proposed by the present invention integrate a service search (search, registration) function performed differently in various existing technologies to search for services available between devices using different technologies.
