PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a power in a mobile communication terminal is provided to efficiently use the power by supplying an optimum power to the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A power control IC(100) has a power supply terminal(VBATT) for receiving a power from a battery, an RF(Radio Frequency) transmitting/receiving terminal(RFU_PWR) connected to an MSM(Mobile Station Modem), a frequency generator signal terminal(TCXO_EN), a sleep signal terminal(SLEEP), an idle signal terminal(IDLE), and a video signal terminal(MMC_PWR). The power control IC(100) outputs the first MSM power(MSM_P), the second MSM power(MSM_A), a frequency generation power(TCXO), an RF receiving power(RF_RX), an RF transmitting power(RF_TX), the first video power(MSP_P), the second video power(MSP_A), an LED power(LED), and a logic power(LOGIC) according to a control signal outputted from the MSM.
