Abstract

PURPOSE: A wireless connection settop device is provided so that a user can easily use a TV set and a settop box by forming wireless transmitting/receiving units in the TV set and the settop box. CONSTITUTION: A settop box(10) and a TV set(20) are provided to wireless-transmit or receive data. In the settop box(10), a broadcasting receiving unit(11) receives a broadcasting signal through a satellite or cable, a signal processing unit(12) processes the broadcasting signal to a video, audio and other data, a wireless signal generating unit(13) converts the video, audio and other data into a predetermined data format wireless signal, and a wireless signal receiving unit(14) outputs the wireless signal from the TV set(20) to the signal processing unit(12).
