Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for automatically turning on/off a mobile communication terminal when not used for many hours, is provided to additionally have built-in timer and charger and operate only the timer with little power of the charger when the terminal is turned off, and to turn on the power in an end point of set not-using time to be synchronized with the time information of a base station. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal has built-in timer and charger. When a power-saving mode of the charger is set up(S1), the timer is synchronized with time information received from a base station(S2). If the terminal is not used for many hours, power is turned off and the timer is operated. If the time on the terminal is not used is ended, the power is turned on and the timer is synchronized with time information(S6).
