PURPOSE: A wireless mouse system is provided to use an induction electromotive force, generated from an electromagnetic field to a built-in coil, as a power source. CONSTITUTION: A wireless mouse system comprises a mouse and a mouse pad. The mouse pad includes a wired communication module(10), a wireless communication module(11), an oscillator(12), and a coil(13). The mouse includes a motion detector(14), a wireless communication module(15), a coil(16), and a power supply(17). A wireless communication is performed between the wireless communication module(11) of the mouse pad and the wireless communication module(15) of the mouse. The mouse pad drives the oscillator(120 by the electric power supplied via a lead line, and the oscillator generates an electromotive force by flowing an electricity to the coil(13). The motion detector(14) detects a motion of the mouse by the electromotive force, and the wireless communication module(15) transmits the detected signal to the mouse pad.
