Abstract
A signage content generation method is disclosed. The signage content generation method may convert a text object into an image object and merge the generated image object with another image object. Therefore, according to the signage content generation method, the type of the object constituting the signage content and the size of the signage content can be reduced.
Description
The present invention relates to digital signage technology, and more particularly, by merging the image objects included in the signage content or merging the image object and the text object, which enables efficient playback in the signage content playback device. It relates to a method of generating content.
Digital signage is a communication tool that can drive marketing, advertising, training, and customer experiences for businesses, as well as broadcasting programs in public places such as airports, hotels, hospitals, and subway stations. It is a digital imaging device that provides information, and it provides comprehensive software and management platform that can control the main functions of existing commercial digital information display.
More specifically, digital signage installs display devices such as liquid crystal displays (LCDs), plasma display panels (PDPs), and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) in devices such as outdoor furniture and street furniture. As a medium that expresses various contents and commercial advertisements, it is currently installed on all the moving lines of the public such as apartment elevators, subway stations, subways, buses, universities, banks, convenience stores, discount stores, shopping malls, and the like.
The initial forms of digital signage were simple large billboards, LCD video in subways or buses, PDP advertisements in history, and digital information displays (DIDs). However, the recent digital signage has evolved beyond simple information provision and advertisement exposure to enable interactive communication that can induce public participation through touch pad technology and high speed interpet technology. It was.
Signage content production companies provide an easy and convenient content creation tool with an intuitive interface, such as a drag and drop method, and a signage content playback device for content playback. Signage content reproducing apparatus for reproducing content is classified into a type using a settop box and a type of PC-based operation.
Recent trends have evolved from PC-based to set-top boxes, and signage content is being provided as signage content playback devices while stored in small removable storage such as SD cards or CF cards. If signage content is generated to minimize the hardware configuration and data processing burden of the signage content playback device in the signage content generation step, efficient signage content playback in the signage content playback device will be possible.
The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method for generating signage content that can be effectively reproduced even in a signage content playback device having a simple hardware and / or software configuration compared to the conventional.
Another technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method of generating signage content that can further increase the resource utilization efficiency of the signage content playback device at the time of signage content playback.
Technical problems to be achieved by the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned technical problems, and other technical problems not mentioned above will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the following description. Could be.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a signage content generation method comprising: setting a display property including a display area and a display time for each of a first image object and a text object; Converting the text object into a second image object having a display area and a display time equal to the display area and the display time of the text object and replacing the text object with the second image object; Generating a third image object by merging the first and second image objects with respect to the overlapping display interval of the first and second image objects; And setting display attributes of the third image object so that the third image object replaces the first and second image objects in the overlapping display period of the first and second image objects. Resetting display attributes of each of the image objects.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a signage content generation method comprising: setting a display property including a display area and a display time for each of a first and a second image object; Generating a third image object by merging the first and second image objects with respect to the overlapping display interval of the first and second image objects; And setting display attributes of the third image object so that the third image object replaces the first and second image objects in the overlapping display period of the first and second image objects. Resetting display attributes of each of the image objects.
Signage content generation method according to another embodiment of the present invention for solving the above technical problem, for setting the display properties including the display area and the display time for each of the image object and the text object disposed on the background image step; Merging at least one of the image object and the text object with the background image to generate another image object; And a display property of the other image object and setting the display property of the other image object such that the other image object replaces the background image and the at least one object in an overlapping display period of the background image and the at least one object. And resetting the display property of the object of.
Each of the signage content generation methods according to the embodiment of the present invention described above may be implemented by executing a computer program for implementing the signage content generation method stored in a computer-readable recording medium.
Signage content reproduction apparatus for reproducing signage content generated by the signage content generation method according to the present invention can efficiently reproduce signage content with a relatively simple hardware and / or software configuration.
Signage content reproduction apparatus for playing signage content generated by the signage content generation method according to the present invention can obtain a higher resource utilization efficiency than when playing the normal signage content.

6 to 7 illustrate an example of arranging objects on a background screen and setting display attributes of a plurality of objects according to the signage content generation method illustrated in FIG. 5.
The user first sets a background image on the blank screen (FIGS. 6A and 6B). Then, the user adds a display area of the text object and the image object to be displayed on the background screen (FIG. 6C). Meanwhile, the display area of the text object and the image object may form different layers. If the display time of the text object and the image object forming different layers overlap, and the display area also overlaps, the object forming the upper layer among the two may be displayed.
Then, the user selects an image object to be displayed in the image object display area, and sets display properties of the selected image object (FIG. 6D). Referring to FIG. 6D, a plurality of image objects are overlapped and displayed in the image object display area. This means that the plurality of image objects have the same display area but different display times.
Then, the user inputs text to be displayed in the text object display area and sets its display attribute (FIG. 7A). Referring to FIG. 7A, a plurality of text objects are overlapped and displayed in the text object display area. This means that a plurality of text objects having the same display area but different display times may be arranged in the same display area.
