Description
The present invention relates to an inverter DC link voltage control system and method.
Generally, an inverter that converts a DC voltage to an AC voltage must discharge a DC link voltage charged in the DC link capacitor when the power is turned off.
However, in discharging the DC link voltage by connecting the discharging resistor to the DC link terminal, current may flow to the discharging resistor during the operation of the inverter, resulting in power loss, and the discharging resistor itself generates a heat phenomenon. The temperature inside the equipment can be increased. In addition, when the discharge resistance value is increased to reduce the power loss of the inverter, it may take a lot of time to discharge the DC link voltage.
In order to solve this problem, it is required to implement a discharge operation to the DC link voltage of the inverter only when the operation of the inverter is completed or the power is turned off.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide an inverter DC link voltage control system and method that can reduce power loss and heat generation.
