Abstract

본 발명은 디지털 티브이 복합기에서 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터를 기록하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 서비스 데이터가 수신되는 단계; 상기 수신된 서비스 데이터에 대한 제 1 녹화 명령이 입력되는 단계; 상기 제 1 녹화 명령이 입력됨에 따라 상기 수신되는 서비스 데이터의 서비스 타입을 판별하는 단계; 상기 판별된 서비스 타입에 대응하여 기 지정된 서비스 데이터를 확인하는 단계; 및 상기 수신되는 서비스 데이터 중에서 상기 확인된 서비스 데이터만을 출력하여 기록하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 제 1 녹화 명령은 상기 수신된 서비스 데이터 중 특정 서비스 타입에 대응되는 서비스 데이터를 녹화하기 위한 명령이다. 이에 따라 사용자가 원하는 데이터만을 추출하여 출력시켜 기록할 수 있게 함으로써 불필요한 데이터의 저장을 피할 수 있으므로 저장매체의 자원을 절약할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 저장된 데이터에 대하여 사용자가 원하는 형태의 데이터를 얻기 위하여 사용자가 추가로 데이터 처리 조작을 해야 하는 불편을 제거할 수 있도록 하였다.

본 발명은 디지털 티브이 복합기에서 디지털 티브이에 재생중인 신호중 사용자가 필요로 하는 신호만을 저장매체에 기록할 수 있도록 하기 위한 서비스 타입별 서비스 데이터 기록방법에 관한 것이다.
디지털 티브이는 기존의 아날로그 티브이와는 달리 오디오 및 비디오 신호를 디지털 처리하여 더욱 선명한 화질을 제공한다. 엠펙(MPEG) 데이터 처리기술을 활용한 각종 디지털 기기들이 출현함에 따라 이러한 디지털 기기와 디지털 티브이가 결합한 복합기기의 이용이 가능하게 되어 디지털 티브이-디브이디 복합기 등이 출현하였다.
이에 따라 디지털 티브이의 고품질 데이터를 디브이디 기록/재생 모듈을 통해 저장매체에 저장할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 디지털 티브이-디브이디 복합기에서의 디브이디 기록/재생 모듈(DVD-RW)을 통한 저장매체로의 신호기록 과정을 설명한다.
도 1은 종래의 디지털 티브이 복합기 주요부분 블럭도이고, 도 2는 종래의 디지털 티브이 복합기에서의 서비스 데이터 기록방법에 대한 흐름도이다.
종래의 디지털 티브이-디브이디 단순복합기는 디지털 티브이의 기능 제어 및 입출력 신호 처리를 하는 디지털 티브이 모듈부(110)와, 디브이디의 기능제어 및 입출력 신호 처리를 하는 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈부(120)와, 사용자 입력에 따라 상기 디지털 티브이 모듈부(110)와 상기 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈(120)부의 동작모드를 제어하는 중앙통제장치(130) 등을 포함하여 구성된다.
이와 같이 구성되는 종래의 디지털 티브이-디브이디 단순복합기에서의 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터가 저장매체로의 저장되는 과정을 설명한다.
먼저, 사용자로부터 서비스중인 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터를 디브이디로 기록하라는 명령이 입력된다(S210). 중앙통제장치(130)는 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈(120)부를 기록모드로 전환하도록 제어하고, 디지털 티브이 모듈(110)에 부가 데이터가 포함된 서비스중인 전체 서비스 데이터를 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈(120)부로 출력시키도록 한다.
기록모드로 전환된 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈(120)은 전송되어 오는 전체 서비스 데이터를 외부입력 형태로 인식하여 엠펙(MPEG) 데이터로 변환하여 저장매체에 기록되게 된다(S230).
이때 출력되는 신호에 대하여 살펴본다.
디지털 티브이의 경우 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터는 기존 아날로그 신호와는 달리 오디오, 비디오 데이터 뿐만 아니라 데이터 방송 정보 데이터까지 포함하고 있는 경우가 대부분이다. 또한, 방송을 시청하는 경우 메뉴나 전자적 프로그램 안내(Electronic Program Guide : EPG)와 같은 그래픽요소(On Screen Display: OSD 화면 문자 표시)가 포함되어 디스플레이 되거나, 녹화중 사용자의 리모콘키 동작에 의해 OSD가 디스플레이 된다.
이 경우, 디지털 티브이 모듈(110)부에서 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈(120)부로 출력되는 신호는 자막요소 등이 포함된 그래픽요소를 디스플레이 하기 위한 부가 데이터가 포함된 서비스중인 전체 서비스 데이터이다. 따라서 저장매체에 기록되는 데이터는 사용자가 원했던 서비스 데이터 이외에도 상기 부가 데이터가 포함되는 것이다.
유럽형 디지탈 티브이(DVB-T)의 텔레텍스트(Teletext:데이터방송)의 경우 특정키에 의해 데이터 서비스가 기동되어 화면상에 OSD형태로 표시되거나 오디오/비디오와 동시에 표시되기도 한다. 유럽형 지상파의 경우에는 일반 오디오/비디오(AV) 및 데이터 방송 외에도 라디오(Radio) 및 오디오 전용서비스를 많이 제공하고 있다.
오디오 전용서비스의 경우 오디오 서비스 데이터 이외에도 바탕화면을 디지털 텔레텍스트로 처리하기 위한 부가 데이터가 포함된다. 이때, 기존의 방식으로 해당 서비스 데이터를 저장할 경우 부가된 OSD 데이터도 여과 없이 동시에 저장매체에 기록되게 된다.
이러한 다양한 형태의 서비스를 저장매체에 기록하고자 위에서 설명한 종래의 방식을 따를 경우, 사용자가 원하지 않는 부가 데이터까지 포함되어 저장됨으로써 저장매체의 자원을 낭비하게 되는 비효율적인 결과를 가져오고, 저장된 데이터에 대하여 사용자가 원하는 형태의 데이터를 얻기 위하여 사용자가 추가로 데이터 처리 조작을 해야 하는 불편을 초래하는 등의 문제가 생기게 된다.
본 발명은 디지털 티브이와 타 정보기기를 복합 시킨 디지털 티브이 복합기에서, 다양한 데이터 구성을 가지는 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터의 해당 서비스타 입 을 판별하여 이중 사용자가 원하는 서비스 데이터만을 저장매체에 저장할 수 있도록 한 디지털 티브이의 서비스타입별 서비스 데이터 기록방법을 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스 데이터 기록방법은, 저장매체로의 기록명령에 따라 그래픽 요소를 포함시켜 출력시킬 것인지를 판단하는 단계와, 상기 판단 결과 그래픽요소를 포함시키지 않고 출력하는 경우에는 서비스중인 디지털 티브이 서비스의 타입을 판별하는 단계와, 판별된 서비스타입에 따라 지정된 데이터를 추출하여 출력하는 단계와, 출력되는 데이터를 기록하는 단계를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기 판단결과 그래픽요소를 포함시켜 출력할 경우에는 서비스중인 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터 전부를 출력하는 단계가 포함된다.
상기 판별결과 서비스타입이 텔레텍스트일 경우 상기 서비스타입에 따라 지정된 데이터를 추출하여 출력하는 단계는, 서비스중인 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터에 오디오/비디오 데이터가 포함되어 있을 경우 포함된 비디오 데이터를 전체화면크기 비디오 데이터로 변환시킨 오디오/비디오 데이터를 추출하여 출력하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
이와 같이 구성되는 본 발명은 디지털 티브이와 디브이디가 복합된 디지털 티브이-디브이디 복합기에 적용될 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 본 발명에 따라 판별된 서 비스타입에 따라 추출되어 출력되는 지정된 데이터를 휴대용 저장수단과 같은 다른 정보저장매체로 직접 기록하는 방법으로도 적용이 가능하다.
이하, 본 발명에 관한 일실시예로서 본 발명을 디지털 티브이-디브이디 복합기에 적용시킨 경우를 들어 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명을 상세히 설명한다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 디지털 티브이 복합기 주요부분의 블럭도이고, 도 4는 본 발명에 따른 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스 데이터 기록방법에 대한 흐름도이다.
본 발명을 적용하기 위한 디지털 티브이-디브이디 복합기는 디지털 티브이의 기능 제어 및 입출력 신호 처리를 하는 디지털 티브이 모듈부(310)와, 디브이디의 기능제어 및 입출력 신호 처리를 하는 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈부(320)와, 서비스중인 디지털 티브이 서비스의 타입을 판별하여 판별된 서비스타입에 따라 지정된 데이터를 추출하여 출력하는 데이터출력 제어부(340)와, 사용자 입력에 따라 상기 디지털 티브이 모듈부(310)와 상기 디브이디 재생/기록 모듈(320)부의 동작모드를 제어하는 중앙통제장치(330) 등을 포함하여 구성된다.
상기와 같이 구성되는 디지털 티브이-디브이디 복합기에서 서비스타입별로 데이터를 기록하는 방법을 설명한다.
먼저 디지털 티브이의 사용자로부터 서비스중인 서비스 데이터를 디브이디에 저장하라는 디브이디 기록명령이 입력된다(S410). 중앙통제장치(330)에서는 부가되는 그래픽요소를 포함한 전체 서비스 데이터를 저장할 것인지를 판단하는 단계를 수행한다(S420).
여기에서 그래픽요소는, 라디오 서비스의 경우 오디오 데이터, 오디오/비디오 서비스의 경우 오디오/비디오 데이터 등 사용자가 선택한 본래의 서비스 데이터 이외에 제공되는 부가서비스와 관련하여 부가되는 데이터를 말한다. 여기에는 디지털 텔레텍스트, 기본적인 티브이 기능조정 및 정보제공을 위한 메뉴나 전자적 프로그램 안내(Electronic Program Guide : EPG)와 같은 그래픽요소(On Screen Display: OSD) 등 사용자가 저장하기를 원하지 않는 요소를 구현하기 위한 부가 데이터 등이 포함된다.
상기 판단하는 단계(S420)에서 사용자가 "예"를 선택하여 그래픽요소를 포함한 전체 서비스 데이터 저장을 원한다고 판단되는 경우에는 서비스중인 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터 전체를 여과 없이 중앙통제장치(330)의 제어에 따라 그대로 디브이디-재생/기록 모듈부(320)로 출력한다(S470). 디브이디-재생/기록 모듈부(320)는 입력되는 서비스 데이터를 외부입력 형태로 인식하여 엠펙(MPEG) 데이터로 변환시켜 저장매체에 기록하게 된다(S480).
상기 판단하는 단계(S420)에서 사용자가 "아니오"를 선택하여 그래픽요소를 제외하고 사용자가 원하는 본래의 서비스 데이터만을 저장하기를 원한다고 판단되는 경우에는 데이터출력 제어부(340)는 필요한 데이터를 추출하기 위하여 방송중인 서비스타입을 판별하게 된다(S430).
데이터출력 제어부(340)가 방송중인 서비스타입을 판단에 사용하는 방법에 관하여 DVB-T의 경우를 들어 설명한다. 도 5는 EN 300 468 규격에 의한 컴포넌트 디스크립터 신텍스의 구조를 나타내는 도면이다. DVB-T의 경우 각 프로그램에 대한 정보가 서비스정보(Service Information; SI)형태로 전송되는데 SI데이타중 컴포넌트 디스크립터(Component descriptor)는 component_type필드를 가진다. 도 5는 서비스타입을 표시하는 컴포넌트 타입(Component_type) 정보가 포함되어 있음을 보여준다.
이러한 component_type은 해당 방송중인 서비스의 타입정보(ES의 타입정보)로서 오디오(Audio), 비디오 (Video), 데이터(Data), 서브타이틀(Subtitle) 등을 구분할 수 있도록 되어 있다. 따라서 데이터출력 제어모듈(340)은 component_type필드 정보를 추출하여 해독함으로써 해당 서비스가 Audio, Video, Data(Teletext)인지를 판별하게 된다.
도 4에 도시한 판별단계의 판별과정(S430)의 실시예를 구체적으로 설명한다. 데이터출력 제어부(340)는 먼저 해당 서비스가 텔레텍스트 타입인지를 판단하게 된다(S431). 해당 서비스가 텔레텍스트 타입이 아닌 경우 해당 서비스가 오디오/비디오 타입인지를 추가적으로 판단한다(S432). 이러한 2번의 판단절차에 의하여 해당 서비스의 타입이 어느 하나로 판별이 된다.
상기 서비스타입 판별단계에서 서비스타입이 판별되면 해당 서비스 타입에 따라 지정된 서비스 데이터를 추출하여 출력하게 된다. 판별결과(S430), 텔레텍스트 타입인 경우 방송중에서 오디오/비디오 데이터를 추출한다(S440). 판별결과(S430), 오디오/비디오 타입인 경우 오디오/비디오 데이터를 추출한다(S450). 판별결과(S430), 라디오 타입인 경우 서비스 데이터중에서 오디오 데이터를 추출한다(S460).
상기 판별단계(S430)에서 방송중인 신호가 텔레텍스트 타입인 경우에는 지정된 서비스 데이터를 추출하여 출력하기 위하여 추가의 절차가 필요하다. 텔레텍스트 타입에서 오디오/비디오 데이터의 포함여부가 가변적이며, 포함한 경우라도 대부분 축소된 이미지 데이타를 포함하므로 이를 전체크기 화면으로 변환시켜야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서, 이 경우에는 추가적인 데이타 처리과정이 필요하게 된다.
먼저 서비스 데이터 중에 오디오/비디오 데이터가 포함되었는지를 다시 판단한다(S441). 판단 결과(S441), 오디오/비디오 데이터가 포함되지 않았을 경우에는 추출하여 저장할 데이터가 존재하지 않으므로 데이터를 출력하지 않는다(S445).
판단 결과(S441), 오디오/비디오 데이터가 포함되어 있을 경우에는 해당 신호중 비디오 데이터를 전체화면크기의 비디오 데이터로 변환시킬 것인지를 다시 판단한다(S442).
상기 판단 결과(S442), 사용자가 "아니오"를 선택하여 전체 크기의 이미지 데이터로 변환을 거절할 경우 데이터 출력을 정지시킨다(S445). 사용자가 "예"를 선택하여 전체 크기의 이미지 데이터로 변환을 원하는 경우, 비디오 데이터를 전체화면크기의 비디오 데이터로 변환시킨 후(S443) 변환된 오디오/비디오 데이터를 추출하여 출력한다(S444).
상기 전체화면크기의 비디오 데이터로의 변환과정과 상기 변환된 오디오/비디오 데이터를 추출하는 과정은 순서를 바꾸어 실시하여도 무방하다.
이와 같은 지정된 서비스 데이터를 추출하여 출력하는 과정에 의하여 그래픽요소가 제거된 서비스 데이터만이 출력되고, 저장매체로의 기록을 위하여 디브이디 -재생/기록모듈에 전송된다(S470).
디브이디-재생/기록 모듈부(320)는 전송되어 오는 그래픽요소가 제거된 서비스 데이터를 외부입력 형태로 인식하여 엠펙(MPEG) 데이터로 변환하여 저장매체에 기록하게 된다(S480).
따라서 일반적인 프로그램의 경우에는 해당 비디오와 오디오 데이터만이 디브이디 기록과정에 의해 기록매체에 저장되게 된다. 라디오 서비스의 경우에는 오디오 데이터만이 디브이디 기록과정에 의해 기록매체에 저장되게 된다. 텔레텍스트 서비스의 경우에는 오디오/비디오 신호가 있을 경우 전체크기 화면으로 변환시킨 오디오/비디오 데이터만이 디브이디 기록과정에 의해 기록매체에 저장되게 된다.
이제까지 본 발명을 디지털 티브이와 디브이디를 복합한 디지털 티브이-디브이디 복합기에 적용하여 설명하였지만 본 발명의 적용범위는 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
다른 실시예로서 사용자가 서비스중인 디지털 티브이 서비스 데이터중 필요한 서비스 데이터만을 휴대용 정보저장매체에 직접 저장하고자 하는 경우에도 본 발명의 적용이 가능하다. 즉, 본 발명의 방법에 의하여 추출되어 출력되는 서비스 데이터를 디지털 티브이의 복합기의 타기기와의 인터페이스 모듈을 통하여 표준화된 데이터 전송방식으로 직접 휴대용 저장매체에 기록할 수 있는 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스 데이터 기록방 법에 의하면, 사용자가 그래픽요소를 저장하고자 원하지 않을 경우에는 사용자가 원하는 데이터만을 추출하여 출력시켜 기록할 수 있게 하므로써 불필요한 데이터의 저장을 피할 수 있다. 그러므로, 저장매체의 자원을 절약할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 저장된 데이터로 부터 원하는 형태의 데이터를 얻기 위하여 사용자가 추가로 데이터 처리 조작을 해야 하는 불편이 제거되는 효과가 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 서비스 데이터가 수신되는 단계;
    상기 수신된 서비스 데이터에 대한 제 1 녹화 명령이 입력되는 단계;
    상기 제 1 녹화 명령이 입력됨에 따라 상기 수신되는 서비스 데이터의 서비스 타입을 판별하는 단계;
    상기 판별된 서비스 타입에 대응하여 기 지정된 서비스 데이터를 확인하는 단계; 및
    상기 수신되는 서비스 데이터 중에서 상기 확인된 서비스 데이터만을 출력하여 기록하는 단계를 포함하며,
    상기 제 1 녹화 명령은 상기 수신된 서비스 데이터에서 특정 서비스 타입에 대응되는 서비스 데이터를 녹화하기 위한 명령인 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스데이터 기록방법.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 수신된 서비스 데이터에 대한 제 2 녹화 명령이 입력되면, 상기 수신된 서비스 데이터 전체를 출력하여 기록하는 단계가 더 포함며,
    상기 제 2 녹화 명령은 상기 수신된 서비스 데이터 중 모든 서비스 타입에 대응되는 서비스 데이터를 녹화하기 위한 명령인 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스데이터 기록방법.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 판별된 서비스타입이 텔레텍스트이면, 상기 수신된 서비스 데이터에 포함된 비디오 데이터를 전체화면크기로 변환하는 단계가 더 포함되는 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스데이터 기록방법.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 출력하여 기록하는 단계는
    상기 서비스 데이터를 디브이디로 출력하여, 상기 디브이디에 상기 서비스 데이터를 기록하는 단계인 것을 특징으로 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스데이터 기록방법.
  5. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 출력하여 기록하는 단계는
    상기 서비스 데이터를 휴대용 저장수단으로 출력하여, 상기 휴대용 저장수단에 상기 출력되는 서비스 데이터를 기록하는 단계인 것을 특징으로 디지털 티브이 복합기의 서비스타입별 서비스데이터 기록방법.
