Abstract
본 발명은 리벳팅 장치에 관한 것으로 가열된 열풍이 공급되는 열풍관과; 내부가 빈 관 형상을 이루며 상기 열풍관의 하측에 결합되는 연결관과; 하측면의 가장자리와 중앙부가 하측으로 돌출되고 그 사이는 상측으로 오목하게 형성되며, 중앙과 측면에 배출공이 형성되고, 상기 연결관의 하측에 결합되어 상기 연결관을 통해 전달되는 열풍을 배출공을 통해 배출하여 하측의 돌기를 가열하고 성형하는 툴과; 상기 열풍관 또는 연결관에 결합되어 상기 툴을 상하로 이동시키는 이동부와; 상기 툴의 둘레를 감싸 툴의 측면에 형성된 배출공을 통해 배출되는 열풍이 돌기 측으로 향하도록 하는 가이드;를 포함하여 구성되어 리벳팅 작업의 품질을 높이며 작업시간을 단축시킨다는 효과가 있다.

Description
본 발명은 리벳팅장치에 관한 것으로 보다 상세하게는 툴의 중앙과 가장자리에 형성된 배출공을 통해 가열된 공기를 배출하여 돌기를 녹인 후 툴이 하강하여 돌기에 압력을 가해 성형하고 툴과 툴의 상측에 연결된 연결관에 냉각용 공기를 공급하여 툴의 온도를 내려 툴에 접촉된 돌기를 냉각시키게 되는 리벳팅장치에 관한 것이다.
자동차 내장재와 같이 다수개의 프라스틱소재를 적층하여 결합하는 경우 한소재의 가장자리에 다수개의 관통공을 형성하고 상기 관통공에 결합할 상대 소재의 돌기를 삽입한 후 상기 돌기를 리벳팅 성형하는 방법을 사용하게 된다.
상기 자동차 내장재의 경우 상기 돌기를 합성수지로 제작하게 되므로 금속재의 돌기과는 달리 먼저 합성수지를 녹인 후 툴로 압력을 가해 성형하고 이후 돌기를 냉각시켜 작업을 완료하게 된다.
이러한 리벳팅 작업을 위해 종래에는 도1에 도시된 것과 같이 돌기(1)를 성형하는 툴(14)의 상측에 전열선이 내장된 히터(12)를 결합하여 전원이 공급되면 상기 히터(12)가 툴(14)을 가열하여 온도를 상승시키도록 하는 장치가 개발되어 있 다.
상기 장치는 툴(14) 자체를 가열하게 되므로 툴(14)을 가열한 후 툴(14)을 하강시켜 돌기(1)의 가열과 성형이 동시에 이루어지도록 하게 된다.
그런데 상기와 같이 툴(14)을 사용하여 돌기(1)를 녹이도록 구성된 장치는 구조가 간단하여 장치의 제작비용이 저렴한 점에서는 장점이 있으나 가열과 가압이 동시에 이루어지므로 완전히 녹지 않은 상태에서 압력이 가해지므로 돌기(1)의 성형이 완전하게 이루어지지 않으며 소재(2)에 상기 압력이 전달되어 소재(2)가 찌그러지거나 백화가 발생하여 완성된 제품의 품질이 떨어진다는 단점이 있다.
또한 냉각시 툴의 온도가 서서히 떨어지므로 작업시간이 오래 걸린다는 문제점이 있다.
상기와 같이 툴을 직접 가열하는 방식 대신 도2의 (a)와 같이 구성되어 돌기(1)의 둘레에 가열된 열풍을 공급하여 돌기(1)를 녹인 후 툴(24)이 하강하여 성형하는 장치가 개발되었다.
상기 장치는 소재와 돌기가 정해진 위치에 도달하면 먼저 도2의 (b)에 도시된 것과 같이 열풍을 공급하는 열풍공급부(22)가 하강하여 돌기의 둘레를 감싼 상태에서 돌기(1)의 둘레에 열풍을 공급하게 되며 일정시간이 경과한 후 도2의 (c)와 같이 상기 열풍공급부(22)는 상승하고 툴(24)이 결합된 펀치가 하강하여 돌기를 성형하고 다시 냉풍을 공급하여 냉각시키도록 구성된다.
상기와 같이 열풍을 사용하게 되면 돌기(1)가 녹은 후 툴(24)을 하강시켜 성형할 수 있으므로 도1에 도시된 것과 같이 가열과 성형이 동시에 이루어지는 것에 비해 높은 품질의 리벳팅 결과를 얻을 수 있다.
그러나 상기와 같은 장치는 열풍공급부(22)를 승하강시키는 구동부와 툴을 하강시키는 구동부가 별도로 구비되어 있어야 하므로 구조가 복잡하여 장치가 고가이며 열풍공급부를 하강시켜 가열한 후 다시 열풍공급부를 상승시킨 후 펀치작업이 이루어져 작업시간이 길어진다는 문제점이 있다.
또 다른 리벳팅 장치로는 도3에 도시된 것과 같이 독일의 KIEFEL사에서 개발한 것이 알려져 있다.
상기 장치는 도1과 같이 툴의 상측에 히터(32)를 결합하고 상기 히터(32)와 툴(34)의 둘레를 감싼 후 공기를 공급하여 상기 히터(32)에 의해 가열된 공기가 돌기(1)로 공급되도록 하여 돌기(1)를 녹인 후 상기 툴(34)이 하강하여 성형하도록 한 것이다.
상기 장치는 구조가 간단하면서 열풍을 사용하여 돌기를 성형하므로 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
그러나 툴과 히터를 감싸는 부분의 크기를 증가시키는데 한계가 있으므로 내부에 설치되는 히터의 크기가 제한되어 가열할 수 있는 공기의 양이 한정되므로 돌기를 녹이기 위한 시간이 오래 걸리게 된다. 특히 돌기의 외주면에만 열풍을 가하게 되므로 내측까지 녹이는데 많은 시간이 소요된다. 또한 냉각시 툴과 히터를 모두 식혀야 하므로 냉각시간도 걸리고 반대로 가열시에는 툴과 히터를 다시 가열해야 하므로 에너지 손실이 크고 작업시간이 길어진다는 문제점이 있다.
본 발명은 상기의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 안출된 것으로 리벳팅 작업의 품질이 높고 에너지 효율이 좋으면서 작업시간이 짧아 생산효율이 높은 리벳팅 장치를 제공하는 것을 주목적으로 한다.
또한 구조가 간단하여 제작이 용이하며 저렴한 리벳팅 장치를 제공하는 것을 또 다른 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 상기의 목적을 달성하기 위해 합성수지 돌기를 가열, 가압하여 성형하여 다수개의 판재를 결합하는 리벳팅 장치에 있어서, 가열된 열풍이 공급되는 열풍관과; 내부가 빈 관 형상을 이루며 상기 열풍관의 하측에 결합되는 연결관과;
하측면의 가장자리와 중앙부가 하측으로 돌출되고 그 사이는 상측으로 오목하게 형성되며, 중앙과 측면에 배출공이 형성되고, 상기 연결관의 하측에 결합되어 상기 연결관을 통해 전달되는 열풍을 배출공을 통해 배출하여 하측의 돌기를 가열하고 성형하는 툴과; 상기 열풍관 또는 연결관에 결합되어 상기 툴을 상하로 이동시키는 이동부와; 상기 툴의 둘레를 감싸 툴의 측면에 형성된 배출공을 통해 배출되는 열풍이 돌기 측으로 향하도록 하는 가이드;를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리벳팅 장치를 기술적 요지로 한다.
바람직한 실시예에 따르면 상기 연결관은 외주면에 냉각용 핀이 다수개 구비되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직한 실시예에 따르면 상기 가이드는 하측 말단에 홈이 다수 개 형성되어 돌기를 가열한 열풍이 외부로 배출되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직한 실시예에 따르면 상기 가이드는 찬 공기가 공급되는 냉풍관이 연결되어 돌기의 성형 후 툴과 연결관을 냉각하게 되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직한 실시예에 따르면 상기 가이드는 상측이 연결관을 감싸되 상기 연결관을 따라 상하로 이동가능하도록 설치되며 용수철이 결합되어 툴의 하강시 상기 용수철의 탄성력에 의해 판재를 누르게 되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직한 실시예에 따르면 상기 가이드는 외주면에 하측 말단보다 하측으로 돌출된 스트리퍼가 하나 이상 결합되어 가이드의 말단이 직접 소재의 표면에 닿지 않도록 하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명은 상술한 바와 같이 열풍을 공급받아 툴에 형성된 배출공을 통해 돌기를 가열한 후 가압하게 되므로 리벳팅 작업의 품질이 우수하고 에너지 효율이 높으며 가열시간과 냉각시간이 단축되어 생산성이 높아진다는 효과가 있다.
또한 구조가 간단하여 장치의 제작이 용이하므로 경제적이라는 효과가 있다.
이하에서는 첨부된 도면을 참조로 하여 본 발명의 실싱예에 따른 리벳팅 장치에 대해 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
도4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 리벳팅 장치의 툴(300) 및 상기 툴(300)의 상부를 도시한 단면도이다.
상기 도4에 의하면 본 발명의 리벳팅장치는 크게 열풍관(200)과 연결관(100)과 툴(300)과 이동부와 가이드(500)로 구성됨을 알 수 있다.
먼저 열풍관(200)에 대해 설명하기로 한다. 상기 열풍관(200)은 내부가 비어있는 관 형상을 이루게 되어 상측에서 공급되는 열풍이 하측으로 이동되도록 하는 통로가 된다.
상기 연결관(100)은 내부가 빈 관형상을 이루게 되며 상기 열풍관(200)의 하측말단에 결합되어 상기 열풍관(200)을 통해 공급되는 열풍이 하측으로 이동하도록 하는 통로가 된다.
여기서 열전달을 보다 높이기 위해 상기 연결관(100)은 알루미늄 등의 열전도율이 높은 금속재로 제작하게 된다.
다음으로 툴(300)에 대해 설명하기로 한다. 상기 툴(300)은 상기 연결관(100)의 하측 말단에 결합되며 납작한 원판형상을 이루게 되며 중앙은 상하로 관통되고 외주면에는 둘레를 따라 상기 중앙의 관통된 부분과 연결되는 관통공이 다수개 형성되어 배출공(310)을 형성하게 된다.
상기와 같이 툴(300)의 하부 중앙과 외주면에 형성된 배출공(310)으로 상기 연결관(100)을 통해 공급된 열풍이 배출된다.
상기 툴(300)은 도4에 도시된 것과 같이 하측면의 가장자리와 중앙부가 하측으로 돌출되고 그 사이는 상측으로 오목하게 형성되어 돌기(1)의 성형시 돌기(1)의 상측이 상기 오목한 면을 따라 외측으로 벌어져 성형이 이루어지도록 한다.
상기 툴(300)은 가열과 냉각이 용이하도록 열 전도율이 높은 금속재로 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다.
다음으로 이동부에 대해 설명하기로 한다. 상기 이동부는 상기 열풍관(200) 또는 연결관(100)에 결합되어 용수철(520)작용으로 가이드(500)가상기 툴(300)이 상하로 이동할 수 있도록 한다. 본 발명에서는 도4 도시된 것과 같이 유압실린더(410)와 상기 유압실린더(410)의 상하운동을 상기 열풍관(200)으로 전달하기 위한 전달판(420)을 포함하여 구성된다.
여기서 상기와 같이 전달판(420)을 사용하는 이유는 다수개의 돌기(1)를 한번에 성형하기 위해 장치 내부에 상술한 툴(300)을 다수개 구비하고 상기 전달판(420)을 이동시켜 상기 툴(300)들을 동시에 상하로 이동시키기 위함이다.
그러나 상기와 같이 전달판(420)을 사용하여 툴(300)을 승하강시키는 대신 유압실린더(410)를 바로 툴(300)의 상측 연결관(100)이나 열풍관(200)에 연결하는 것도 무방하며 상기 유압실린더(410) 대신 에어실린더(410)는 캠 등을 사용하는 것도 무방하다.
다음으로 가이드(500)에 대해 설명하기로 한다. 상기 가이드(500)는 상기 툴(300)을 감싸 상기 툴(300)의 배출공(310)을 통해 배출되는 열풍이 돌기(1) 측으로 향하도록 하게 된다. 이를 위해 상기 가이드(500)는 상측에서 하측으로 지름이 점차 작아지도록 하여 열풍이 상기 가이드(500)에 부딪혀 돌기(1)의 둘레로 향하도록 한다.
여기서 상기 가이드(500)는 일측에 차가운 공기가 공급되는 냉풍관(530)이 연결되어 돌기(1)를 성형한 후 툴(300)을 냉각시키기 위한 냉풍을 공급받을 수 있도록 한다. 이때 가이드(500) 내부로 찬 공기를 공급하여 냉각을 할 때 냉각시간을 줄이고 툴(300)과 함께 연결관(100)의 하부말단도 급속 냉각이 될 수 있도록 하기 위해 상기 연결관(100)의 외주면 하측에는 다수개의 냉각핀(110)이 부설되며 상기 가이드(500)가 상기 냉각핀(110)도 함께 감싸도록 구성된다.
상기 가이드(500)의 하측은 도5에 도시된 것과 같이 하측말단은 다수개의 홈(540)을 형성하여 상기 돌기(1)를 가열한 열풍이나 툴(300)을 냉각시킨 냉풍이 외부로 배출될 수 있도록 한다. 이는 돌기(1)가나 툴(300)에 접촉한 열풍이나 냉풍을 외부로 배출하여 상측에서 공급되는 열풍이나 냉풍이 계속 돌기(1)에 접촉하여 신속하게 가열되거나 냉각될 수 있도록 하기 위함이다.
그리고 상기 가이드(500)는 상기 연결관(100)에 상하로 이동가능하도록 결합되며 그 상측에 용수철(520)이 결합되어 있어 상기 용수철(520)의 탄성에 의해 툴(300)을 완전히 감싸는 형태가 되도록 구성된다.
이때 상기 가이드(500)의 말단에는 다수개의 스트리퍼(510)가 결합되어 툴(300)의 하강시 가이드(500)의 말단이 소재(2)에 직접 닿지 않도록 한다.
상기와 같이 스트리퍼(510)를 사용하는 이유는 가이드(500)가 직접 소재(2)에 닿을 경우 가이드(500)의 열에 의해 상기 가이드(500)와 접촉하는 소재(2)가 녹 아서 흠집이 발생할 우려가 있어 이를 방지하기 위함이다.
이를 위해 상기 스트리퍼(510)는 가이드(500)의 말단보다 하측으로 돌출된 봉으로 상기 툴(300)의 하강시 먼저 소재(2)에 닿아 가이드(500)의 하강을 방지하게 된다. 이때 가이드(500)의 하강이 중지된 상태에서 툴(300)은 계속 하강하므로 상기 용수철(520)이 압축되어 탄성력을 보유하게 된다.
상기 스트리퍼(510)는 소재(2)에 닿으면 용수철(520)의 탄성력에 의해 소재(2)를 눌러 고정하게 되어 성형시 소재(2)가 흔들리지 않도록 한다.
이후 툴(300)이 상승하게 되면 상기 툴(300)이 일정거리를 이동하는 동안에는 상기 용수철(520)의 탄성력에 의해 상기 가이드(500)는 계속 정지된 상태를 유지하게 되며 상기 툴(300)이 그 이상 계속 상승하게 되면 상기 가이드(500)도 함께 상승하게 된다.
이하에서는 첨부된 도면을 참조로 하여 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 리벳팅 장치의 작용과 효과에 대해 설명하기로 한다.
도6은 소재(2)를 위치시킨 상태에서 가열하는 상태를 나타낸 단면도이며 도7과 도8는 가압이 이루어지는 상태의 툴(300)과 돌기(1)를 나타낸 단면도이다.
먼저 도6에 도시된 것과 같이 툴(300)을 돌기(1)의 상측에 위치시킨 상태에서 열풍을 공급하게 된다. 열풍관(200)과 연결관(100)을 통과한 열풍은 툴(300)의 배출공(310)을 통해 중앙과 둘레로 배출된다. 이때 중앙을 통해 배출된 열풍은 돌 기(1)의 내측을 가열하게 되며 둘레로 배출된 열풍은 가이드(500)에 부딪혀 돌기(1)의 외주면을 가열한 후 외부로 배출된다.
일정시간 가열이 이루어진 후 상기 이동부가 구동되어 상기 툴(300)이 하강하게 되면 상기 툴(300)은 돌기(1)의 상측에 닿게 되며 계속 돌기(1)를 가압하게 되면 상기 돌기(1)의 상측은 툴(300)의 하측면에 형성된 오목한 부분을 따라 외측으로 벌어져 도7과 8에 도시된 것과 같이 점차 성형된다.
이때 상기 툴(300)이 하강하는 동안 함께 하강하던 가이드(500)는 스트리퍼(510)가 소재(2)에 닿게 되면 하강이 중지되고 툴(300)이 계속 하강함에 따라 용수철(520)이 압축되어 탄성력을 축적하게 된다.
이후 툴(300)이 완전히 하강하여 성형이 완료되면 열풍의 공급은 중단되고 상기 가이드(500)의 일측에 형성된 냉풍관(530)을 통해 차가운 공기가 공급되어 연결관(100)의 냉각핀(110)과 툴(300)에 접촉하여 연결관(100)과 툴(300)을 냉각시키게 되며 이에 따라 툴(300)에 접촉되어 있는 돌기(1)가 냉각된다.
이후 냉각이 완료되면 냉풍의 공급을 중단한 후 툴(300)이 상승하게 되며 툴(300)이 일정거리 이상 상승하게 되면 가이드(500)가 툴(300)을 따라 상승하게 된다.
툴(300)이 완전히 상승하게 되면 리벳팅을 완료한 소재(2)를 장치로부터 제거하고 새로운 소재(2)를 투입하여 다시 리벳팅 작업을 수행하게 된다.

- 합성수지 돌기를 가열, 가압하여 성형하여 다수개의 판재를 결합하는 리벳팅 장치에 있어서,가열된 열풍이 공급되는 열풍관(200)과;내부가 빈 관 형상을 이루며 상기 열풍관(200)의 하측에 결합되는 연결관(100)과;하측면의 가장자리와 중앙부가 하측으로 돌출되고 그 사이는 상측으로 오목하게 형성되며, 중앙과 측면에 배출공(310)이 형성되고, 상기 연결관(100)의 하측에 결합되어 상기 연결관(100)을 통해 전달되는 열풍을 배출공(310)을 통해 배출하여 하측의 돌기(1)를 가열하고 성형하는 툴(300)과;상기 열풍관(200) 또는 연결관(100)에 결합되어 상기 툴(300)을 상하로 이동시키는 이동부와;상기 툴(300)의 둘레를 감싸 툴(300)의 측면에 형성된 배출공(310)을 통해 배출되는 열풍이 돌기(1) 측으로 향하도록 하는 가이드(500);를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리벳팅 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 연결관(100)은 외주면에 냉각용 핀이 다수개 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리벳팅 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 가이드(500)는 하측 말단에 홈(540)이 다수 개 형성되어 돌기(1)를 가열한 열풍이 외부로 배출되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리벳팅 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 가이드(500)는 찬 공기가 공급되는 냉풍관(530)이 연결되어 돌기(1)의 성형 후 툴(300)과 연결관(100)을 냉각하게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리벳팅 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 가이드(500)는 상측이 연결관(100)을 감싸되 상기 연결관(100)을 따라 상하로 이동가능하도록 설치되며 용수철(520)이 결합되어 툴(300)의 하강시 상기 용수철(520)의 탄성력에 의해 판재를 누르는 것을 특징으로 하는 리벳팅 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 가이드(500)는 외주면에 하측 말단보다 하측으로 돌출된 스트리퍼(510)가 하나 이상 결합되어 가이드(500)의 말단이 직접 소재(2)의 표면에 닿지 않도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리벳팅 장치.
