The present invention relates to an instant messaging between a mobile phone and a mobile phone or between a mobile phone and a PC. In particular, the present invention does not require a subscription to a sizing service and does not require registering a party to be invited to a friend list. The present invention relates to a method and a system for enabling instant messaging on a mobile by inviting the other party using only a number.
Due to the popular short message service (SMS) in the mobile communication field using a mobile phone, it is becoming a new trend to communicate with each other using short messages rather than voice calls. However, short messages can be delayed if the queue is long, and each time a message is sent, the mobile phone number of the other party must be entered. There is a disadvantage that does not guarantee receiving. In addition, the user interface may be uncomfortable because the user interface for providing a short message to the mobile phone and the execution process of the transmission and reception vary depending on the mobile phone manufacturer.
Instant messenger services that can send and receive messages between PCs via wired Internet are also widely used. This instant messenger has the advantage of being able to send and receive chat messages in real time once the conversation starts. In recent years, such an instant messenger has been extended to be used on a mobile phone. With the service, a chat inviteer can send a message in real time to the other party in the PC environment or the other party using the other mobile phone. I can receive it.
However, in order to use the instant messenger service, some conditions must be satisfied. First, you (the inviter) and the other party, who are the parties to the conversation, must be registered together in a particular instant messaging system. Therefore, you must subscribe to the messaging service. Furthermore, membership alone is not enough, and the person who wants to talk should register as his or her friend. You must meet these conditions before you can communicate with the invitee. Therefore, the general mobile phone users can not send and receive messages in real time with the other party who does not subscribe to the instant messaging system or is not registered as a friend. Therefore, the shortcomings of the short message service and the instant messaging service need to be compensated and a more convenient instant messaging service that takes advantage of both services is needed.
The present invention does not require a chat inviter or the other party to register and register the friend as a friend, the mobile phone number of the inviter wants to chat anytime and anywhere conveniently in the conversation by instant messaging between mobile phones To provide a service method that enables the service.

Furthermore, the instant messaging service method may further include storing the contents of the conversations exchanged in the chat room in a database of the service system and providing the stored conversation contents in response to a user's request.
Furthermore, in the instant messaging service method, the socket connection between the mobile phones participating in the chat room is made by associating a chat room ID assigned to the chat room by the service system and a mobile phone number participating in the chat room.
Meanwhile, the present invention enables not only instant messaging between mobile phones but also instant messaging between mobile phones and PCs. To this end, the instant messaging service method is executed when the other party requesting a conversation runs on a personal computer (PC) connected to the Internet and accesses the service system by issuing an authentication key for the mobile phone number of the user. If the user provides the user's mobile phone, and the user reconnects to the service system with the personal computer and inputs the issued authentication key, the service system regards the chat room list in which the user is invited as the authenticated user and invites the user to the PC. In addition, the PC-to-mobile instant messaging is also possible.
The client program is an embedded program installed as a basic program on the first mobile phone or the second mobile phone, or a program that is downloaded to the first mobile phone or the second mobile phone or the PC from the service system.
According to the present invention as described above, PMIM service users, if they know only the mobile phone number of the other party, can use the mobile phone number to proceed with the conversation, such as inviting the other party to the conversation in real time. If the client program for the PMIM service is installed as the built-in software of the user's mobile phone, there is a convenience that can be used without installing a separate client program like a short message. In addition, if it is not installed as the embedded software, the short message requesting the conversation is provided to the conversation respondent by including a URL where the client program can be downloaded. The Respondent can access a specific site using the URL provided by his mobile phone, download a client program from the site, install it on his mobile phone, and then participate in the conversation. In addition, it is not always necessary to connect to the server through the client program, it is possible to change the state of its own to the mobile state as necessary to receive a message coming to it as a short message. Also, when replying through short message, it is easy to use by diversifying the way of sending and receiving messages, such as processing it on the server and delivering it to the other party.
Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 schematically illustrates the configuration of an entire system for implementing a PMIM service. In order to enable the PMIM service, a
In such a system, the following types of instant conversations are possible:
또한 상대방이 대화 요청을 수락하지 않을 경우 메시지를 남길 수 있다. i) The mobile phone user (inviter) may request a conversation based on the mobile phone number to the desired counterpart through the function provided by the
ii) 대화 수단을 휴대폰에서 PC로 변경하여 폰-투-PC(Phone-to-PC) 방식으로 인스턴트 메시징을 할 수도 있다. ii) It is also possible to change the means of communication from a mobile phone to a PC and perform instant messaging in a phone-to-PC manner.

FIG. 2 shows an exemplary configuration of a
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
In addition, the
Furthermore, the
The
3 and 4, when Client A, the user's mobile phone, accesses the
The following is a description of the protocol used in the actual PMIM, the list of protocols used when the client logs in to the
5 shows a procedure for a user to access the
Extending the functionality further for the convenience of the user, the present invention may allow any one of the conversation parties to perform a so-called PC-to-Phone instant messaging using a PC. Specifically, since the PMIM service will be provided for a fee, it is more economical for a user to use a personal computer (PC) than a mobile phone which has to pay per packet. Therefore, the user is also provided with the ability to access the
However, the user who uses a mobile phone may be identified by his mobile phone number, but the identity of the user who uses the PC client may be unclear. Therefore, it is necessary to take a separate proper authentication procedure so that the other party can verify the identity of the person who uses the PC client. desirable. 6 shows an authentication procedure for the user of the PC client 300-2 in this regard. Authentication can be done using the PC user's mobile phone number. When the PC client 300-2 connects to the
인증절차 이후의 절차는 휴대폰을 이용하여 PMIM을 사용하는 방법과 동일하다(도 7 참조).As illustrated in FIG. 7, the user inputs an authentication key (KEY) received from his mobile phone for user authentication in the PC client 300-2. The login information (PIDPC | KEY) including the authentication key is transferred from the PC client 300-2 to the
Until now, only a process of connecting a client to the
Consider a case where a user (inviter) who wants to instant messaging with a mobile phone requests a conversation to another user (the other party) after logging in to the
동시에 클라이언트 2가 대화방에 입장하였음을 알리는 메시지 IN(Roomid, PID, Nick)와 사용자 2가 작성한 메시지 MSG(Roomid, PID, msg)가 클라이언트 A(300a)에게 보내진다. FIG. 10 shows a procedure in which user 2 invited to a conversation responds to the conversation request of user 1, and FIG. 11 shows a screen displayed on
As such, clients of a conversation party (eg, clients A and B) enter the same chat room, and their session establishes a socket connection via that chat room, from which time messages from each client are queued. It is sent directly to another client without delay. Here, the socket connection between the mobile phones participating in the chat room or between the mobile phone and the PC is made by associating a room ID assigned to the chat room by the
On the other hand, the present invention further provides another function for enhancing the convenience of use in addition to the function of enabling such instant messaging between two people. User 1 and 2 can also be instant messaging and change to a mobile state where a mobile phone call is possible. To this end, a 'MOBILE' button is provided at the upper left of the 'conversation' window as shown in (c) of FIG. 9. When this button is executed, the client exits the current chat room, and at the same time, the client program for PMIM is executed, and the mobile phone call is made available. This button changes the state of your mobile phone to the mobile state while User 1 and User 2 are instant messaging, for example when one of them needs to make a mobile phone call with a third party. Messaging allows you to proceed with SMS. This button terminates the online status for instant messaging and allows the user to exit the program while changing his status to mobile via a STATUS message. After that, the
The diagram of FIG. 12 shows a process in which after
The PMIM client program provides several function buttons. 9E shows a toolbar in which function buttons provided are collected. The Chat Room List button displays a list of all the chat rooms you have created and the rooms you have invited. The End Chat button provides the ability to leave a chat room or exit the PMIM messaging environment completely. The Exit Program button completely exits the PMIM program, causing the client to go offline. The diagram of FIG. 13 shows the process of terminating an ongoing conversation and further terminating the PMIM client program. In order to end the current conversation and exit the chat room, the 'end conversation' button shown in (e) of FIG. 9 may be executed. Then, the conversation termination message OUT (Room ID) is sent from the
Another add-on is the ability to invite other users to have multiparty conversations using INVITE messages in chat rooms. A third party (
The process in which the
As another feature, one person can join several chat rooms. It is possible to move to another chat room that you want to participate from among the currently opened a plurality of chat rooms by using the 'view chat room list' on the left side of the toolbar of FIG. 9 (e). In this case, the present participant chat room is changed within the client itself without exchanging a special message with the
As described above, the user may maintain his / her status in various ways such as online status, mobile status, status, internet status, and the like. The ability for the user to give priority to these states may be added to the client program for PMIM. The priority set using this function is provided to the
In addition, the operator of the
In the above, the present invention has been described using a case where the communication base is a wireless Internet environment as an example. However, the present invention is not limited thereto and may be modified and applied to other wireless communication environments, such as a Wibro system.
The present invention can improve the limitations and inconveniences of use of the short message service and the computer-based instant message service of the existing mobile phone. In other words, by using the present invention, the user does not have to go through the cumbersome procedure of registering for a service providing site or registering a conversation partner as a friend in order to use the service of the present invention. You can only use a mobile phone or PC with a client program, and if you know the mobile phone number of the other party, you can instant messaging with that person. Furthermore, the conversation can be made in a longer sentence than a short message (SMS), and the instant messaging is possible because the present invention enables a conversation through a socket connection, whereas the SMS cannot guarantee a real time conversation or an instant conversation when the queue is long.
