Description
The present invention relates to a rear view mirror in which a pilot can observe a propeller in the rear through a mirror by performing a simple operation in a cockpit in a pusher type aircraft in which a propeller is disposed at the rear of the fuselage. For aircrafts that are closed to match the shape and observe the propeller operation, the pilot operates the levers inside the fuselage to open the rear view upwards and observe the propellers operating behind the fuselage inside the aircraft fuselage. It relates to a retractable rearview mirror.
Aircraft generally do not use protruding rearview mirrors used in conventional vehicles because they must minimize drag, which is a detrimental to performance.
Especially in the case of propeller aircraft, there is no reason to wear a rearview mirror because the propeller can always observe the operating state in front of the pilot in the form of a tractor. You can't directly see the propellers at the rear, and you can only know the propellers' operation through the various monitoring instruments and sounds placed in the cockpit.
In general, the rearview mirror is an external protrusion, which acts as a factor that causes air resistance, and when applied to an aircraft, the disadvantage is greater than an advantage because the drag increases due to the increase of drag.
The present invention maintains the closed state to match the fuselage outer shape, and when the pilot operates the lever located in the room as needed, the rear mirror opens to the fuselage to see the appearance of the fuselage, the end of the observation when the pilot reverses the lever To close the rear view mirror.
The rearview mirror of the present invention basically consists of three reflectors using the principle of periscope, and allows the pilot to observe the propeller of the fuselage aft through the rearview mirror without looking back at the same time.
The rearview opening and closing of the present invention is operated with a single lever using a mechanical device, which is simply operated by the pilot and operated by any external wind or vibration other than the pilot's artificial lever operation when the rearview mirror is in the open or closed state. It is not to be.
The present invention basically consists of three reflectors, and firstly, the first reflector 1, which can be opened to the outside with the reflector mounting table 14 as a surface, is installed, and at the front edge of the first reflector 1 The first reflecting mirror rotating shaft 8 is engaged with the surface of the reflector mounting table 14 so as to be opened and closed while being rotated 45 degrees backward.
In order to block external wind while the first reflector 1 protrudes at 45 degrees, the first reflector side covers 11 are installed at both sides, and the first reflector windshield 10 is mounted at the rear opening. .
A second reflecting mirror 2 is disposed below the first reflecting mirror 1 in parallel with the first reflecting mirror 1, and both ends of the rear edges of the first reflecting mirror 1 and the second reflecting mirror 2 are connected to the second reflecting mirror 1. It leads through the rod (7).
The second reflector 2 is located indoors, and both sides and the bottom thereof are enclosed by a second reflector side cover 12 connected to the outer surface, and a rotating shaft 9 fixed to the second reflector side cover 12 at the front edge thereof. ) Is positioned so as to be parallel to the first reflecting mirror 1 through the second connecting rod 7 and rotate at the same angle.

The third reflecting mirror 3 is located at a predetermined angle in front of the second reflecting mirror 2, and is fixed at a predetermined position together with both of the third reflecting mirror side covers 13.
The rotary lever 4 in a fixed position is disposed on one side of the second reflecting mirror side cover 12 of the second reflecting mirror 2, and the first connection between the lever 4 and the rear edge of the second reflecting mirror 2 is first connected. Connect with rod (5).
The lever 4 is for operating the rear mirror, and the first connecting rod 5 of the second reflector 2 is inserted into the hole in the end of the lever inside the second reflector side cover 12 so as to move freely. The spring 6 is mounted between the lever 4 and the first connecting rod 5 so that the compression force acts when the lever 4 is rotated. The second reflector 2 is operated at 0 degrees or 45 degrees. When the 4) is rotated, the second reflector 2 rotates about the second reflector rotation shaft 9, and the first connecting rod 5 rotates about the axis of the lever 4. The second reflector 2 Since the first and second connecting rods 5 rotate about different centers, when the lever 4 is rotated, the spring 6 is compressed or expanded, that is, when the second reflector 2 is 22.5 degrees, the second reflector (2) and the first connecting rod (5) are placed on the same line, so the spring (6) is most compressed, and the lever (4) counterclockwise so that the second reflector (2) is 45 degrees By rotating the first connection by the elastic force of the spring (6) loaded with 5 it will have the direction of bangye rotational force about the speed of the lever 4. As the counterclockwise rotational force of the first connecting rod 5, the second reflector 2 has a counterclockwise rotational force around the second reflector rotational axis 9. Therefore, due to the counterclockwise rotational force of the second reflecting mirror 2, the first reflecting mirror 1 has a counterclockwise rotational force about the first reflecting mirror rotating shaft 8 and rotates counterclockwise. Since the reflecting mirror 1 is stationary at 45 degrees, the first reflecting mirror 1 and the second reflecting mirror 2 are fixed by generating a supporting force due to rotational force at 45 degrees.
The force of the spring 6 retained upon completion of the operation of the lever 4 allows the reflectors 1 and 2 to be operated in two modes, 0 degrees or 45 degrees.

With the lever 4 moved as shown in the drawing, the first connecting rod 5 supports the second reflector 2 at a 45 degree angle by the force of the spring 6 about the second reflector rotation shaft 9. The first reflecting mirror 1 is rotated by the second connecting rod 7 connected to the second reflecting mirror 2 so that the first reflecting mirror 1 comes into contact with the surface of the reflector mounting table 14. Will remain open.
Figure 3 shows a cross-sectional view showing the open state of the present invention, the appearance of the outer rear is reflected back from the second reflector 2 via the first reflector 1 and finally by the third reflector 3 Show the pilot to you.
Here the 45 degree position of the lever 4 and the two connecting rods 5, 7 are supported by the elastic force of the spring 6.
