Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for setting day and night modes in a keyphone system is provided to simply change day and night modes at a remote place by setting the day and night modes through an exchange access line connected with a keyphone system. CONSTITUTION: A control unit judges whether an exchange access line received through an exchange access line connecting part is a DiSA exchange access line(201). If not, the control unit controls a switching unit for setting up a call path between the exchange access line and an extension subscriber to transmit a ring signal to a telephone of the extension subscriber(202). If so, the control unit controls a tone generator to generate a DiSA dial tone(203). The control unit detects whether a specific digit is inputted to a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) signal(204). If the inputted digit is '0', the control unit executes a control operation for executing the existing DiSA function(205). If the inputted digit is '1', the control unit judges whether a password is inputted(206).
