Abstract

PURPOSE: A burglar alarm device and a method for controlling burglar alarm is provided to prevent loss of a portable terminal in advance, and notify a lost state in the case that the portable terminal is lost. CONSTITUTION: An alarm sensing unit(30) senses an alarm signal generated from an alarm(200). A memory(20) stores a specific telephone number preliminarily designated by a user. A dialing part(60) dials the predetermined telephone number under control of a control unit(10). If the sensing of the alarm signal is discontinued for a predetermined time, the control unit(10) judges the discontinuity as a lost state and controls the dialing part(60) to dial the specific telephone number after a send key is inputted or the designated time passes. An RF(Radio Frequency)(40) controls wireless transmission and receipt of a portable terminal(100).
