본 발명은 이동통신단말기의 대기화면 설정방법에 관한 것으로, 대기화면상태에서 간단한 키입력으로 한글 입력상태로 전환하여 내용을 기록한후, 그 내용을 대기화면에 등록할 수 있도록 한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은 사용자에 의해, 대기화면 상태에서 한글전환키를 선택하여 한글 입력 모드로 전환하는 제1 과정과; 상기 한글 입력모드로 전환되면 별도의 창이 떠서, 사용자에 의해 문장을 입력하는 제2 과정과; 사용자에 의해, 문장 기록이 완료되면 설정기능을 선택하여 그 문장을 대기화면으로 설정하는 제3 과정으로 이루어진다.The present invention relates to a method for setting a standby screen of a mobile communication terminal, and after switching from the standby screen state to a Hangul input state with a simple key input, recording the contents and registering the contents on the standby screen.
