Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for confirming a connection state of a mobile phone is provided to allow a user to easily recognize a connection state by outputting it as a voice and displaying it as a liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A DTMF tone generator generates a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) tone(ST1). A microprocessor checks whether it has received the DTMF tone(ST2). When the DTMF tone is received, it is judged that a telephone line has been normally connected and a liquid crystal display unit displays accordingly so that a user can easily recognize the connection of the telephone line(ST3). If the DTMF tone is not transmitted to the microprocessor, the microprocessor judges that a telephone line has been erroneously connected(ST4). Then, the liquid crystal display unit displays the erroneous connection of the telephone line visually(ST6), while a speaker outputs a corresponding voice for user's recognition(ST5).
