Abstract
본 발명은 텔레비전 동작방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 캡션 키를 사용하여 캡션 신호가 입력되고 있는지 감지하여 채널의 가변에 상관없이 캡션 방송을 디스플레이 하는 캡션 방송 디스플레이 방법에 관한 것이다. 캡션 방송 디스플레이 방법은 캡션 키를 구비한 텔레비젼 시스템에서 캡션을 자동으로 감지하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 캡션 키 신호가 입력되면 방송중인 채널의 캡션 데이터를 감지하여 디스플레이 하는 제1과정, 상기 제1과정 수행중 사용자에 의해 채널이 가변될때마다 그 채널의 캡션 데이터를 체크하여 감지된 캡션 데이터를 화면에 표시하는 제2과정을 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 사용자의 선택에 의해 간편하게 캡션 동작을 조작하여 채널 변동에 상관없이 캡션 방송을 시청할 수 있어 사용자의 편리성을 극대화 할 수 있는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a television operation method, and more particularly, to a caption broadcast display method of detecting whether a caption signal is input using a caption key and displaying a caption broadcast regardless of a change in a channel.
