Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease an input value for calculation of development length and at the same time to facilitate the production of a development of a bent parts by securing the automatic calculation of the development length of the bent parts with input of a parameter defining a bent form and displaying a reference line for production of the development. CONSTITUTION:An actual bent form is decided by the parameters (numeric value) defining the side length A-C of figures (a)-(c), the plate thickness T, the bending radii R1-R2, the bending angles T1 and T2, etc. When the development length is calculated, a calculation menu is displayed on a graphic display 1 in the form of a basic bent pattern shown at the right side. Thus either one of basic patterns is selected out of said menu screen by a tablet 3. Then a development length calculation program is carried out by the calculation menu of the selected basic bent pattern. Thus it is possible to easily produce the development of the bent parts with no input of a projection pattern.
