Abstract

PURPOSE:To enjoy an abstract video image by using a synthesis signal so as to apply blanking to an output being the result of video signal processing to a TV video signal and extracting the abstract video image. CONSTITUTION:An output signal of a video intermediate frequency amplification circuit VIF 3 is oututted to a video signal processing circuit 5 and outputted to a synchronizing separator circuit 11 via connectors 4,10. A horizontal synchronizing signal Hs and a vertical synchronizing signal Vs are obtained from the circuit 11 and a sawtooth wave is obtained from the output to sawtooth wave generating circuits 12, 13. The sawtooth wave is given to voltage comparator circuits 14-21, from which horizontal and vertical blanking pulses are generated, and they are synthesized by a pulse synthesis circuit 22. An output signal of the circuit 22 is fed to a signal switching circuit 6 of a receiver 9 as an extraction signal.
