Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the convenience of an operation in applying the lighting control locally by sending control information from a telephone set to a main control panel to enable the control of the lighting load. CONSTITUTION:The information representing a number of lighting fixture to be controlled or a terminal equipment from a telephone set 13 aud control information representing the control content of the lighting fixture to be con trolled or the like are entered. The information is sent to an interface panel 7 via a private branch exchange 11 by using a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi- Frequency) signal or the like. The interface panel 7 detects the signal received in this way, converts it into a transmission signal and sends it to the main control panel 1 via a transmission line 3. In sending the transmission signal to the main control panel 1 in this way, the main control panel 1 sends the address signal and the signal including the control signal to each terminal equip ment to control the lighting load. Thus, the convenience in the operation is improved remarkably in applying lighting control locally.
