Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily discriminate whether abnormality is generated in a current detector or in a control system, by calculating a current response speed value from the ratios of the present and previous measured values of the output of the current detector with a rated current value and judging the abnormality of the current detector when said ratios exceed upper and lower limit values. CONSTITUTION:The current signal (i) outputted from an insulation type amplifier 6 is sampled at a unit time cycle by a sampling means 71 to be stored. Then, the difference between the present measured value (in) and the previous measured value (in-1) is operated by the first operation means 72. Next, the ratio of said difference and the rated current value iC of a manual setting device 8 is operated by the second operation means 73 to hourly calculate a current response speed. This current response speed is compared with the upper and lower limit values in a normal range and, when it is judged that said response speed exceeds the upper and lower limit values, it is judged that a current detector 5 is abnormal.
